If the visitors repeat that win, Manchester City will be all but out of the title race. But I just can't see it happening. Norwich don't have enough top quality in-form defenders to snuff out Sergio Aguero - who has six goals in four games - the creativity of David Silva and the surging runs from deep of Yaya Toure.
There are still serious questions to be answered by Pellegrini. In the absence of the vital Vincent Kompany, why has there been no place for Joleon Lescott? He has to be better than Javi Garcia or the rusty Martin Demichelis. Why do players of sublime skill disappear so alarmingly away from home?
At Eastlands though, it's a different story. They're almost unbeatable. Norwich are sluggish in the opening exchanges and by the time they settle fast-starting City will be into their stride and will surely have the game won.
