Chelsea forward Fernando Torres is not quite ready to return from an adductor muscle injury.
Ashley Cole will play despite sitting out England's matches with the recurrence of a rib injury.
MATCH PREVIEW
England need more skill, pace and match-winning trickery in midfield. That much is clear from the back-to-back Wembley defeats. West Ham's Ravel Morrison should use spotlight matches like this to stake his claim for a place on the plane to Rio.
Now that he's shrugging off the tag of trouble-maker under the watchful eye of Sam Allardyce and a new mentor in Kevin Nolan, the 20-year-old is showing the sort of creativity that once had Sir Alex Ferguson drooling.
I think there's still one midfield spot in Roy Hodgson's squad yet accounted for. Morrison has a lot to do, but his five goals this season have a stamp of class. If he can get his head right, he could be a terrific player.
LAWRO'S PREDICTION
Image of Mark Lawrenson Mark Lawrenson Football analyst
"Hammers boss Sam Allardyce will have had the flip-chart out again this week to put together a game-plan to get one over the Blues.
"I think that will mainly come down to them trying to deny Chelsea any space and they will be defending deep and looking to hit the Blues on the break."
Read Lawro's full prediction and score
Chelsea's Frank Lampard might be looking over his shoulder at the rise of Morrison. He struggled against Chile. Critics will say the years are catching up with him fast, especially as he's suffering his worst Premier League scoring drought in a decade.
This is the start of a run of five winnable games for Chelsea against modest opposition prior to visiting Arsenal on 23 December.
So far they've picked up the same number of points under Jose Mourinho as they did in Rafa Benitez's first 11 games in charge. Imagine the boos he would have had! But, for the moment, Jose can still do no wrong.
West Ham also need to hit immediate targets - six points at least from the next three home games. They have the worst current home form in the division. They've struggled to score. The win at Spurs and the Capital One Cup run have camouflaged a disturbing slump. Six points from nine games is relegation form.
This week they unveiled computer images of what football will look like in the Olympic Stadium when they move. They can't afford to go there in the Championship.
MATCH FACTS

This is the 100th meeting of the clubs in all competitions. Chelsea have won 44 times, West Ham 37 and there have been 18 draws.

Frank Lampard has scored in three of his last four Premier League appearances against his former club West Ham, but the England midfielder has failed to score in 10 successive league games - his longest run without a goal in the Premier League since April-August 2003.

MATCH PREVIEW
Twelve months ago, Mark Hughes was relieved of his duties as he attempted to keep QPR in the Premier League, while Gus Poyet was continuing his challenge of trying to get Brighton into it.
Now the former Chelsea team-mates meet as managers in the top flight for the first time - with their new clubs - well aware of the importance of gaining three points.
LAWRO'S PREDICTION
Image of Mark Lawrenson Mark Lawrenson Football analyst
"At home, the Black Cats have been brilliant under new boss Gus Poyet but it is away where they need to improve if they are gong to have more than a slim chance of survival."
Read Lawro's full prediction and score
Both have two wins each so far. Poyet , though, has recorded them in just four games in charge of Sunderland, while Hughes has had 11 matches at Stoke.
That record means he'll be looking at this fixture even more as the one to end an eight-match winless streak and record a 100th victory as a Premier League manager.
The Welshman has only been able to add a handful of new faces to the squad that 12 months ago only won once in their first 10 matches. It was never going to be an instant change in fortunes at Stoke.
They scored only 34 league goals under Tony Pulis last season and have only 10 on the board so far in this campaign, three of them in their last match at Swansea.
However, Stoke face the club with the worst defensive record in the league. Sunderland finally kept their first clean sheet of the season in the win over Manchester City which, together with victory in the north east derby, will have injected much-needed confidence into the squad.
The question is whether they can now improve their away form? They've gained just one point from the last 21 on the road and that has to improve if they are to play in an eighth successive Premier League season next year.
A first away win of the season would lift Sunderland above Stoke in the table. The home team need to restore the fearful reputation of the Britannia Stadium, where they've won only twice in 11 matches. A win for either team would be extremely timely.
MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
The 1-1 draw at the Stadium of Light in May marked only the second time in 10 Premier League meetings that both sides scored.
Stoke have failed to score in their last two home games against Sunderland (D1, L1), having won the previous four meetings at the Britannia Stadium.
Stoke City
Stoke are winless in eight league games (D4, L4). It's their worst run since an 11-match streak between April and September 2012.
They have only won two of their last 11 home league matches, against Norwich and Crystal Palace (W2, D4, L5), and failed to score in six of those games.
Stoke have gone four games without a home victory, one shy of their worst ever Premier League run when they drew five successive matches at the Britannia Stadium between April-September 2012.
The Potters have dropped a league-high seven points from winning positions.
Sunderland
Sunderland became the final Premier League side to keep a clean sheet this season when they beat Manchester City 1-0 in their last match. They have conceded 22 goals, the most in the division.
The Black Cats have lost four consecutive away games since drawing at Southampton in their first Premier League trip of the season. They have only managed one point from seven away fixtures dating back to April.
They have lost all seven games in which they conceded the opening goal, and have also failed to outscore the opposition in the second half of a match this season.

Norwich will again be without record signing Ricky van Wolfswinkel because of a toe injury.
Anthony Pilkington appears to have overcome a hamstring problem, but Mark Bunn and Alexander Tettey are out.
MATCH PREVIEW
Newcastle United should be a very happy camp at the moment.
Successive Premier League wins against Chelsea and Tottenham might have been unexpected results, but they're certainly impressive ones.
After last month's derby defeat to Sunderland they were essential ones too, and have again put an optimistic sheen on another typically up and down Toon season.
A collection of World Cup-bound Frenchmen will only add to the joie de vivre at the club, with Mathieu Debuchy (though suspended for this game), Yohan Cabaye, Mohamed Sissoko and Loic Remy all returning triumphant from the dramatic play-off win against Ukraine.
Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, Hatem Ben Arfa and maybe even the uncapped but in-form Yoan Gouffran could join them on the Charles de Gaulle-to-Rio flight next year.
I did say 'should' be a happy camp though, because this is Newcastle United - and Alan Pardew has already said it: "In the past this club has shot itself in the foot when it's been in a good position".
There's even a warning in this season's past. Their last back-to-back wins were followed by the campaign's only home league defeat - to Hull.
Norwich manager Chris Hughton's latest return to St James' Park finds him in the same position he seemed to be in for much of his time as boss of the place - with murmurings about his future.
The win against West Ham last time out did plenty to ease the chatter, but he knows that has to be built on. A point or more from this one, followed by a win at home to Crystal Palace, and he should be tucking into Norfolk turkey at Christmas.
What CAN'T be allowed to happen is another stuffing away from home. The Canaries have conceded 15 goals in their last three games on the road - and with only three away league wins to cheer since the start of last season, it's seemed an even longer road home to East Anglia far too often.
MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
Newcastle have not conceded a goal in the last three league meetings.
Norwich haven't won at St James' Park since 1988 when Dale Gordon and Robert Fleck gave them a 2-0 victory.
Eight of the last 10 meetings between the two clubs in all competitions have ended as home wins.
Newcastle United
The Magpies have lost only one of their last five league games.
No side has scored more goals from outside the box this season than Newcastle's five.
Loic Remy has scored seven goals in his last seven matches. He has scored 47% of his side's league goals this season - the highest proportion in the top flight.
Fourteen of Newcastle's 15 league goals this season have been scored by Frenchmen. An Englishman has not scored a league goal for Newcastle in 2013.
Norwich City
The Canaries scored as many goals against West Ham (three) in their last match as they had done in their previous seven league games.
They have exactly the same points (11) as the same stage as last season, despite spending £25m this summer.
Norwich have won just three of their 24 league matches away from home since Chris Hughton took charge.
Hughton won 31.3% of his Premier League games when he was manager of Newcastle in 2009-10. His replacement Alan Pardew has a win ratio of 37.6%.
Robert Snodgrass has created 24 chances without registering an assist this season - more than any other player. But the Scotsman has scored more direct free-kicks in the Premier League than any one else since the start of 2012-13 (four).

Crystal Palace have been boosted by the news that Jonny Williams is fit again.
Adlene Guedioura remains out with the fractured ribs and partly collapsed lung he suffered earlier this month.
MATCH PREVIEW
With Tony Pulis reportedly waiting in the wings, Crystal Palace will again be under the caretaker manager Keith Millen for this one. It's a month now since the resignation of Ian Holloway, and the ponderous search for his permanent successor could be significant come the end of the season.
Three games have brought one point and no goals. Ground has been lost. True, the goalless draw at home to Everton last time out ended a run of seven successive defeats, but Palace are in danger of losing touch with their fellow strugglers having sunk six points adrift of safety at the foot of the table.
A fresh injection of ideas, enthusiasm and good old Premier League nous is needed now before it's too late.
LAWRO'S PREDICTION
Image of Mark Lawrenson Mark Lawrenson Football analyst
"Both of these teams got promoted last season, but Crystal Palace's situation at the bottom of the table could not be a bigger contrast to what is happening with Hull."
Read Lawro's full prediction and score
Despite failing to score in his last nine games, Marouane Chamakh is likely to start again as neither Cameron Jerome nor Dwight Gayle have suggested they can do any better.
Fellow summer signings Jimmy Kebe, Jason Puncheon, Barry Bannan and Jerome Thomas have failed to score or create enough chances for others. The defence has come under too much pressure at the other end and has rarely coped sufficiently.
It's a former Palace boss that's standing in their way this weekend. Twelve years ago, Steve Bruce controversially quit his post at Selhurst Park after just five months in charge. It was a bitter dispute, but he decided his ambitions were better served at Birmingham City and so it proved as he guided them to promotion that season.
Now he's done the same at Hull City and he will be thrilled by their promising start in the Premier League. Comfortably mid-table, 11 of their 14 points have been collected at the KC Stadium and Bruce will appreciate the importance of extending that excellence at home if they're to steer clear of trouble.
Although goals have been in short supply, sensible summer recruitment has provided the team with a strong spine. Curtis Davies, Jake Livermore and Tom Huddlestone have added quality.
A win will be enough to push Hull in to the top 10, but history prompts a little caution with just one victory over Palace enjoyed in their last 13 meetings.
A year ago on Humberside it ended 0-0 in the Championship. A repeat of that scoreline would guarantee last place on the Match of the Day running order but would probably be warmly received in SE25.
MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
In the last meeting between these sides, veteran striker Kevin Phillips scored a hat-trick for Palace in a 4-2 Championship win in March 2013.
The two sides have given away seven penalties this season in the league - Crystal Palace four and Hull three.
Hull City
There have only been five goals scored in the five league matches played at the KC Stadium this season.
The Tigers have conceded just one goal at home.
Hull are one of only five teams still unbeaten at home this season in the Premier League.
Crystal Palace
They are the only side in the top flight yet to pick up a point away from home this season.
Palace have not won any of their last 18 Premier League away matches since a 1-0 victory at Birmingham City in October 2004.
They have failed to register a single shot on target in two Premier League games this season (v Manchester United and Southampton). No other side has suffered this fate.

Fulham will be hoping the appointment of Rene Meulensteen as head coach during the international break will help galvanise their misfiring squad and halt what has become an increasingly alarming slide down the table.
The former Manchester United coach has been brought in to work alongside manager Martin Jol, who's under pressure following a poor start to the season in which they've lost seven of their 11 Premier league fixtures.
LAWRO'S PREDICTION
Image of Mark Lawrenson Mark Lawrenson Football analyst
"Fulham's problem is that they are conceding loads of goals. What they really need are a few games where they are difficult to beat and hard to play against. If they pick up a few points, that would give them a platform to build on."

Fulham last won a game just over a month ago, 4-1 at Crystal Palace, and have lost the last four in all competitions - reaching a new low last time out with an insipid display in a 4-0 thrashing at Liverpool.
The move to bring in fresh thinking on the coaching side takes some of the heat off the manager for the time being, but if things don't improve in the near future, Jol's position will be centre stage again.
The visit of Swansea is the first of four at home for Fulham in the next six league games. Tottenham, Aston Villa and Manchester City will all visit Craven Cottage before Christmas, with trips to West Ham and Everton also to come in that time.
Fulham's home form has been pretty awful so far though, with just one win and a total of four points from a possible 15. Along with Crystal Palace and West Ham, it's the worst home return in the division.
Swansea travel to London only two points better off than their hosts and also without a win in just over a month. They've drawn four of the last five, two of them in the Europa League, since a 4-0 win over Sunderland in Gus Poyet's first match in charge in mid-October.
Their away form has been a mixed bag thus far with impressive 2-0 wins at West Brom and Crystal Palace mixed in with defeats at Tottenham, Southampton and Cardiff in which they failed to score a single goal.
MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
Fulham ended a run of three successive Premier League defeats by Swansea with a 3-0 away triumph on the final day of last season.
Fulham's last league home win in this fixture was in the fourth tier in February 1997.
Fulham
Martin Jol's side have suffered three straight league defeats, conceding nine goals and scoring just once.
Fulham have only earned four points at home this season, the joint worst record in the division along with Crystal Palace and West Ham.
Only Aston Villa (9) have lost more Premier League home matches in 2013 than Fulham (8).
They have conceded the opening goal in eight of their 11 league matches this season, more than any other side.
Dimitar Berbatov has scored one Premier League goal in 855 minutes this season. In 2012-13, he averaged a goal every 190 minutes (15 in 2,847 minutes).
Swansea
Twelve points from 11 games represents Swansea's worst start to a top-flight season. They are winless in three games.
However, they are only one point worse off than at the same stage last year.
They have only scored three first-half goals - only Cardiff (2) and Norwich (1) have fared worse.
The Swans have an average ball possession of 58.5% in the Premier League this season, second only to Manchester City (59.5%) according to football statisticians Infostrada.

MATCH PREVIEW
Early last season this fixture would have looked like a real home banker, but what a difference a year makes. Southampton lost 6-1 at the Emirates in September 2012, but they are the Premier League's team of the moment right now.
Saints are unbeaten in eight league games, with just one defeat all season, and of course had three players called up for the most recent England squad.
LAWRO'S PREDICTION
Image of Mark Lawrenson Mark Lawrenson Football analyst
"We must wait and see who is fit to play in Arsenal's midfield but I just think that, right now at The Emirates, visiting teams get a bigger examination than they do anywhere else in the Premier League.
"The Gunners are top of the table for a reason. They can out-play you in the middle or out-flank you down the wings and this will be a tough game for Saints."
Read Lawro's full prediction and score
They sit third in the table, and could end the day top. Even the most optimistic of Southampton fans would not have predicted that at the start of the season.
The Southampton story is incredible. It was only four years ago that they were on the brink of extinction following relegation to League One. Instead, the club were rescued by the current Swiss owners.
The question for both clubs is can their current level of success be sustained?
Few would expect Southampton to finish in the top four, but a win at Liverpool and draw at Manchester United suggests they are not out of their depth against the elite.
Many predict that Arsenal's title challenge will fade and they will eventually be overhauled by the likes of Chelsea and the two Manchester clubs.
But I think the return to fitness of several injured players could give them fresh impetus during the second half of the season.
Theo Walcott could feature on Saturday, and the likes of Lukas Podolski and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain should provide similar boosts when they return. It has often been overlooked this season how well Arsenal have coped with a lengthy injury list.
This should be a good game for the connoisseurs. Southampton move the ball well under Mauricio Pochettino, and usually look to press their opponents high up the pitch.
Arsenal won't change their expansive style but will have a point to prove following defeat at Manchester United.
All in all, it has the makings of a cracking game.
MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
Arsenal are unbeaten in their last 18 home league matches against Southampton. That run stretches back to a 1-0 top-flight defeat on 21 November 1987 when Danny Wallace got the only goal.
Three of the last four meetings between the sides have ended in draws.
Arsenal
Victory would give the Gunners five successive home league wins for the first time since April 2012.
The 1-0 defeat at Manchester United was the first time Arsenal had failed to score in a Premier League game since 16 April, when they drew 0-0 with Everton.
The last time the Gunners failed to score in consecutive league games was in the opening two matches of the 2012-13 season, which they drew 0-0 against Sunderland and then Stoke.
Southampton
Arsenal's defeat by Manchester United means Saints now possess the longest current unbeaten run (eight games) in the Premier League.
This is their best start to a top-flight season. They are two points better off than at this stage of the 1983-84 campaign, when they eventually finished second.
They had 17 points fewer at this point last season, and had conceded 24 more goals (29 in total).
Southampton have faced fewer shots on target than any other side in the Premier League this season (31).
Saints have conceded six or more goals in six different Premier League games - the last two of which have been away at Arsenal (in September 2012 and May 2003).

Buddies captain Jim Goodwin is suspended, while winger Gary Teale and defender David Barron remain on the sidelines through injury.
The visitors' injury list has dwindled, with only defender Michael Nelson and midfielder Alex Harris unavailable.
St Mirren are on a run of four wins in their last five league outings, while Hibs have gone five games without a win, losing their last four.
St Mirren manager Danny Lennon : "We're delighted the way things are going and, after a very highly documented slow start, we're now getting the rewards that I feel that we deserve.
"That's only come through hard work and the determination to prove to ourselves what good quality that we do have.
"After a few wins there, the most important thing is that we don't rest on our laurels, we don't get complacent, we keep the standards up there.
"We can look back only a few weeks back where we dropped our standards that 2-3% and this league is very unforgiving, you can be punished and against Dundee United we did that.
"Hibs are going through that transition period just now where Pat Fenlon's moved on and he'd assembled a good squad and Terry and Maurice Malpas have come in and will have their own ideas, their own training methods, their own style of football.
"What we do know is that with Terry and Mo coming in, there'll be a knee-jerk reaction from the squad of players at Hibs and will all be eager to impress."
Hibernian manager Terry Butcher : "I am looking for a good reaction from the players - which I am positive I will get - and players going out and playing with a smile on their face and enjoying what they do.
"I am excited every morning I wake up, coming to the training ground, being with a group of players like we have and being at a club like this.
"We would have liked another three or four weeks because it has been like a pre-season and we could really have bedded things down.
"But you are very lucky to get time with your players during the season.
"We are excited with what we have got, there are one or two areas we need to work on which we will do but generally, we have been impressed by them.
"There are good characters here, players who want to win and score and their attitude and work-rate has been great."

Watch Everton V Liverpool Live Stream Barclays Premier League Match 23 -November 2013. Everton manager Roberto Martinez has reported no fresh injury concerns ahead of Saturday's Merseyside derby.
Defenders Antolin Alcaraz and Tony Hibbert are available after long lay-offs but they are unlikely to play.Watch Everton V Liverpool Live, Watch Everton V Liverpool Live Stream, Watch Everton V Liverpool Free Live Stream, Watch Everton V Liverpool Online, Watch Everton V Liverpool Online Free, Everton V Liverpool Live, Everton V Liverpool live stream Online.
Liverpool full-back Jose Enrique has been ruled out with a knee injury which will probably require surgery.
Striker Daniel Sturridge has been nursing a dead leg for several weeks and his condition will be assessed, while Kolo Toure is fit to return.
MATCH PREVIEW
I'm not sure why, but whenever there's a derby taking place it's become almost obligatory for football commentators and writers to preface any discussion of the match by telling you how many times team A has met team B, as though that will have some great bearing on the outcome of the latest encounter.
It's a bit silly really and I've never understood why people do it; maybe it's just to up their word count?
The 221st Merseyside derby (and the 189th in the league) brings together two 42-year-old former Swansea managers, both of whom are forging managerial reputations based on the principle that possession is nine tenths of the football law.
If both teams stick to that ethos and take a measured, patient approach to the game then this will be one of the stranger Merseyside derbies.
Traditionally, this is a fixture in which studs and flesh fly; and by and large that's how both sets of fans and a lot of the players have liked it. There's not much cerebral about your average Merseyside derby.
Somehow, Goodison Park itself seems to encourage the triumph of passion over precision on such occasions. The grand old place can be an even more stirring place than its comparatively modern cousin across Stanley Park; tougher, more raw - and more roar.
Strangely, though, it's often been Liverpool who have dealt better with that urgent, demanding atmosphere; Everton have had eight red cards in the last 12 Goodison derbies, compared to Liverpool's one. It's hardly surprising that Liverpool have won seven of those games.
Everton's failure to score in successive games prior to the international break provoked a grumble or two, even though their sixth place in the table is respectable at the very least. Just don't expect Roberto Martinez to flinch from his belief that passing the ball, rather than launching it, is the best way to win games.
Liverpool are 11 points and 11 places better off than at this stage last season, and keeping Luis Suarez happy is manifestly their first priority.
With that in mind, owner John W. Henry laid on his private jet to whisk the striker from Montevideo to Merseyside following Uruguay's World Cup qualification at the expense of Jordan on Wednesday night.
Suarez has eight goals in seven games for his club this season; "The kid says he wants a jet? Well, what are you waiting for? Give him mine!"
