Monica Bedi who hogged the news print for her link up to underworld gangster Abu Salem is now back in action. After being sentenced to jail for months, she is now working on her career again.
She managed to get registered with Telugu audience through the film 'Tajmahal' starring Srikanth a few years ago. Now her movie is releasing in Telugu as 'Devadasini'. The film is all set to hit the screens on March 25th. Mukesh Rishi and Satya Prakash play lead roles with Monica. It is a movie based out of a real life story of a Devadasini. D Gautam directed it and G Venkat is presenting it to Telugu audience on Anup Creations banner.
After being acquitted by the courts for lack of evidence against her, she participated in 'Jhalak Dhiklaja season-3' and Desi girl reality show on television.

After the releasing his latest movie Bodyguard, producer Atul Agnihotri has changed his focus on his next project. The actor-truned-producer is now concentrating on his upcoming biopic on southern superstar Rajinikanth, which will be directed by Atul's friend and ad filmmaker Lloyd Ba Pista.

Atul Agnihotri opines that Rajinikanth is a superstar of Indian cinema and making a film on him is not an easy job. He says, “Making a film on him will be an enriching experience for us.” The Bollywood producer has not taken the approval from the Tamil actor and is yet to know about his contribution. Currently, his team is working on the logistics and soon he will come with more details of the film.
Meanwhile, Atul Agnihotri also reveals that his friend Lloyd Ba Pista came up with the idea of making a film on Rajinikanth. He says that he found his concept to be interesting and thought it would be a great project. So he has come forward to help him out to do the project. “We have to make it entertaining without losing the honesty of the story," the Mid Day quotes Agnihotri as saying.
However, Atul Agnihotri has not yet finalised the lead character of the biopic. When asked about whether he would rope in Salman Khan to play Rajinikanth in it, the producer says, “We don't know. We are working out and it would be great if he (Salman) becomes part of it in any which way. Let's see, Lloyd is still working on the script and going back and forth.”

If Sunaina had persistently kept framing Jai Akash for her morphed images in Madhan, Jai Akash doesn"t remain silent. Recently, actress Sunaina had registered a complaint at South Indian Artists Association that Jai Akash had morphed her images for some intimate sequences to gain publicity for the film.
On this turn, Jai Akash makes his statement that it is Sunaina who shot those 'intimate" scenes with him and there"s no need for him to commit certain cheap acts of morphing. In his complaint, he has mentioned that Sunaina was offered to do the female lead in Madhan. Nonetheless, due to his severe leg injury, the shooting was stalled and later the project was shelved due to financial crisis.
But now as the film is ready to hit the screens, she is stirring up troubles, says Jai Akash, who strongly admits that he will file a case against her in court and settle the disputes legally.

Reema Sen's Ilavarasi, a dubbed version of Bengali movie Iti Srikantha, has drawn the attention the mass audience. It is because of the semi-pornographic posters and dare bare scenes of her in the film. However, she denies doing such scenes and claims that those snaps are doctored.
Speaking to a leading daily, Reema Sen says that she is heading for a legal battle against those, who are spreading those images and promoting the movie as a porn film. “I will take legal action against them. There’s nothing pornographic about it! They are distorting the film.” The Times of India quoted the actress as saying.
She further adds that it was a National Award-winning film. She does not understand why the movie is being dubbed in Tamil after seven years. The posters of Reema Sen lying down blouse less on a bed and a frontal picture, which are doing rounds on internet, are fake, claims the Aayirathil Oruvan actress.
The story of the movie is about a man, who is torn between two women. It is based on the novel written by Saratchandra Chatterjee.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis are coming together again. The actors have signed the upcoming Hollywood movie Expendables 2.
According to reports, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis have sealed the deal with the production house to play key roles in forthcoming movie Expendables 2. It may be recalled that the actor were seen together in the cameos in the first instalment of the film.
The Expendables 2 is a sequel to The Expendables. Original cast Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke, Randy Couture and Dolph Lundgren are returning to the sequel. The movie is expected to arrive in theatres on August 17, 2012. The is reportedly taking off in China.

Director David Dhawan, who is directing actor Sanjay Dutt in his new laugh riot movie Rascals, calls him a lovable rascal and prankster. The Bollywood helmer says that he had a blast on the shooting sets, but he faced food problem on the sets of the movie due Sanju Baba's pranks.

Talking to the Times of India, David Dhawan has shared his experience with Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgn while shooting his upcoming film Rascals. The director says that Sanju and Ajay are big pranksters and they were always conspiring against him. Especially, Sanju made his life miserable on the sets as he never allowed him to eat anything peacefully during lunch break.
David Dhawan says that he has developed a kind of of phobia about Sanjay Dutt. “So much so, that even when I’m eating at home I am scared Sanju might appear from somewhere and stop me! Even when I visit his place, he serves me diet food,” David tells the TOI.
However, David and Sanjay have a close bonding of 25 years and the duo has done several films like Jodi No. 1, Ek Aur Ek Gyarah, Haseena Maan Jayegi, Hum Kissise Kum Nahin and Shaadi No.1. Talking about their bonding, David says, “I don’t have a professional relationship with Sanju. He is more like family. But he is also quite a rascal! Actress Katrina Kaif has revealed that she is playing a mad and bindass girl named Dimple in her latest movie Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, which features actors Imran Khan and Ali Zafar in the leads. The posters from the romantic comedy had sparked the speculations that she is playing a rockstar. But she has denied the rumours and said that she appears in rockstar avatar in just a portion of the movie.

Speaking to the PTI, Katrina Kaif says, “I play Dimple in the movie. She is completely mad and is very bindass. In fact, it took me a while to completely feel the madness but I guess that is the challenge." Meanwhile, Kat clarified that she is not playing a rockstar in the movie Mere Brother Ki Dulhan by saying, "It is just a portion.”
The Bollywood actress gushed that she was learning to play guitar in a bid to give a realistic touch to her 'rockstar' get-up in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. Katrina Kaif says, "I was quite apprehensive about it. I had an issue with the heavy Punjabi lyrics which I could not understand. But everyone convinced me. To add a touch of reality, I learnt to play the guitar and it helped me to portray the act convincingly."
However, Katrina has acted in 18 films in her career of nine years and she has appeared in different get-ups in these movies. She says that she tries to get some freshness in each of the characters that she plays and they do make a difference. South Indian actress Asin Thottumkal, who has done two blockbusters in Bollywood with Aamir Khan in Ghajini and Salman Khan in Ready, has remained silent on producer Mukesh Bhatt’s recent remark that she doesn’t have a great future in Bollywood. However, her friends in the industry have come to her defence and slammed the filmmaker for making such irresponsible statement.

 Anees Bazmee, who directed Asin’s recent hit film, Ready, said that Bhatt should not have made such comments. “Someone who doesn't know about his own future shouldn't be commenting on others. You may have your opinion but you don't say such things, and then you can't predict anything in the film world. You are not God. Asin has all the qualities that a heroine should have, she is a professional and not a one film wonder,” Times of India quoted the director as saying.
Aditya Roy Kapoor, who acted with Asin in Vipul Shah's London Dreams, said that the actress is doing well and is going the right path. “Asin has not got there where she is without any talent. She is doing amazingly well. She is in the right place. All of us had a great time shooting with her,” he said.
Asin’s manager said that the actress has nothing to say on Mukesh Bhatt’s remarks. Well, she has rightly remained silent because she won’t gain from fighting with a senior producer!

Salman-Kareena starrer Bodyguard has almost touched Rs 100 crore mark at the Indian Box Office. According to trade sources, the movie has grossed Rs 96.26 crores in the domestic collection centres in the first six days. Siddique directed film has three more days to complete the week and it is expected to Rs 120 crores in its opening week.

Bollywood film Bodyguard has erased the records of Dabangg and 3 Idiots in the Indian Box Office. Dabangg and 3 Idiots had scored Rs 81.5 crores and Rs 80 crores in the first week. But Bodyguard has gone beyond their records by grossing Rs 85 crores in just five days. Now, it is inching towards Rs 100 crore mark with its collection of Rs 96.26 crores in six days run at the Box Office.
However, producers of the movie Bodyguard, which is made with a budget of Rs 60 crores, are very happy with its big collection. They had expected it to earn Rs 100 crores in first week, but it has almost fulfilled their wish in just six days. Now they hope that it will cross Rs 120 crores in another three days.
