Malayalam actress Bhavana is now teaming up again with young romantic star Kunchacko Boban for a new film titled Doctor Love, which is produced by Joy Thomas Sakthikulangara under the banner of Jithin Arts. It will be directed by debutante Biju Arukutti, who has worked as an associate director in several films.
The movie Doctor Love is said to be a romantic entertainer filled with comedy and some sentiment. Kunchacko Boban is said to be playing the hero, while Bhavana reprises the role of heroine. It is reported that Kunchacko will appear in new getup in movie. The shooting of the film would start in May.
However, Bhavana has already worked with Kunchacko Boban in several films. She has acted alongside him in movies like Lollipop and Swapnakoodu. They had even been paired together in Hridayathil Sookshikkan, which was directed by Traffic fame Rajesh Pillai.

Background score was weak and only one song was worth watching. Cinematography was the worst. Editing was raw. Costumes were moderate while the art department was matching the situations. Vinod Krishna has to work hard on his skills if he is planning for a long term career. Deepusanth was disappointing and gave blank expressions. The only consolation was Vinay Fort who showed potential. Mythili was stunningly beautiful and has a sensuous sex appeal in her. She deserves more opportunities. The cameo by Manoj Jayan was dull. Suraj Venjaramoodu was annoying. The others didn't have scope.

Actress Nadia Moidu, who re-entered Malayalam film industry with Mammootty's Doubles, has now signed her next movie in Mollywood. The vibrant actress is reportedly playing a police officer in director Joshy's upcoming movie Sevens, which is being produced by Santhosh Pavithran and Sanjay Sebastian.
The story of Sevens is based on foot ball match and Iqbal Kuttipuram has written the screenplay for it. The movie has seven heroes like Kunchacko Boban, Asif Ali, Nivin Pauli, Mithun, Rajit Menon, Fahad Fazil and Kuttu in the male leads. Nadia Moidu is reprising the role of a Police Commissioner.
Sevens has few other female leads and the movie bosses are said to be still looking for suitable actresses for the other roles. The movie, which announced its shooting in April, is currently being shot in Kozhikode. Ajayan Vincent is handling cinematography, while Bijipal will compose music for it.

Malayalam superstar Mammootty had signed in National award winner director Abhay Simha's bilingual movie Shikari with condition that he would dub for both Malayalam and Kannada versions. Recently, the actor has done the dubbing in his own voice for the film in Kochi.
Earlier, Mammootty had got several offers to star in Sandalwood projects, but he had turned them all down stating that he would act only when he will get good story. But he could not say no to Abhay Simha when he approached him with the story of Shikari.
The Mallu star was impressed by his story and accepted to star in the film Shikari. Meanwhile, he had put some conditions before signing it. One among them was dubbing for Kannada version. Recently, he has done it successfully in Kochi. He has already completed the dubbing for Malayalam version.
The movie Shikari revolves around the experiences of a software engineer. Mammotty plays double roles in the film and he has given life to both the characters, says the director. Meanwhile, he has also dubbed in his own voice for both the roles in both the versions of the film.
However, Shikari has been shot in beautiful locations of Bangalore, Mysore and at a village in Theerthahalli Taluk. Poonam Bajwa, Audithya, Mohan, Neenasam Aswath, Achyutha, Sihi Kahi Chandru and Suresh Krishna are in the cast. The film is said to be releasing in the first week of April.

Much-anticipated Kannada movie Jogayya has finally cleared the formalities of the Censor Board on Wednesday evening. Director Prem had arranged the screening of Shivaraj Kumar’s 100th film for the Censors at Renukamba Studios in Bangalore on 10th August. And the Board has given a 'U/A' certificate for the flick.
According to reports, the Censor Board has asked the bosses of Jogayya to delete a few dialogues and some portions in two sequences. The Board also warned them that it would give an A certificate if they do not cut them. But Prem wanted family members to watch his film Jogayya. So he preferred to follow the Board's directions to get 'U/A' certificate.
However, Prem, Shivaraj Kumar and producer Rakshita Prem have happily accepted the 'U/A' certificate for their much-hyped movie Jogayya. Talking to Chitraloka, Shivaraj Kumar shared his excitement about the the Censors response. Shivanna said, “I was little worried if the film is given 'A' certificate which may prevent family audience to see the film in large numbers. But I am quite happy now.”

Celebrities galore at Rowthiram audio launch

Jeeva and Shreya Saran starrer upcoming Tamil film Rowthiram audio was launched last evening at a star hotel. Top celebrities of the Kollywood were present at the grand event.
Tamil Nadu Producers Council President SA Chandrasekhar, directors KS Ravikumar, Lingusamy, Rajesh, Vetrimaran, actors Aarya, Jayam Ravi, Nasser, Jayaprakash along with lead actors of Rowthiram Jeeva and Shreya Saran were spotted at the audio launch.
Along with the music release, two trailers and a few songs were screened for the guests and the media. The video clippings grabbed the attention of the viewers and received positive responses from the invitees.
The audio of the film is composed by Prakash Nikki and it has five songs.Thamarai, Gokul, Lalitha Anand and Subramanya Bharathi have penned the lyrics.
Rowthiram is directed by newcomer Gokul and produced by RB Choudhary on the banner Super Good Films. The movie is expected to hit the screens on August 12.

Movie Review:
How does one express PHHIR in a line? Well, I'd say, whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. These lines actually sum up the plotline of PHHIR, a suspense thriller focusing on reincarnation. That's not all, for director Girish Dhamija affixes yet another track in the film which bears a striking resemblance to EYES OF LAURA MARS. Yet, with all the trappings that make a riveting thriller, PHHIR runs out of breath before it reaches the winning post.
Problem kya hain? Dhamija, who had made an engrossing thriller in YAKEEN earlier, has an interesting plot on hand this time as well and I must add, he's shot the film very well too. In fact, you get sucked into the world of the principal characters at the outset and Dhamija succeeds in making you curious and inquisitive with each passing incident. But Dhamija blows up everything towards the finale -- when the suspense unfolds. I mean, it turns out to be one of those typical movie endings, a tried-and-tested shortcut that evaporates all the hard work that the director had invested in building up the suspense so beautifully.

Bhatt stay away as trailer of ‘Phirr’ rocks Mumbai

A select few theatres in Mumbai have been showcasing the trailers of Vikram Bhatt's ‘Phirrr’ along with the screening of ‘3 Idiots’ even as the producer-director is out of town. Last last month, Bhatt took off for the US and UK for a long vacation.
‘I am on an extended holiday. I went to Los Angeles, New York and presently I’m holidaying in England,’ says Bhatt and evades a directly when asked as to who was accompanying him during all these visits. He simply quips and says that the ‘companion’ would be at peace if it (the question of who is accompanying him) remains a mystery.
Vikram has had to endure some anxious moments when word was that pirated DVDs of ‘Phirrr’ were out in the market. His production team, though, claims that only the poster of ‘Phirrr’ was being used as the pirated CDs contained an English film.
Directed by Girish Dhamija, Phirrr features Bhatt's 1920 duo Rajneesh Duggal and Adah Sharma along with Roshni Chopra. While Shaapith marks the debut of Aditya Narayan along with Shweta Agarwal. Bhatt is slated to be back in Mumbai this weekend.
