Those who shine during auditions are given a ticket to Las Vegas for callbacks, where they work with top choreographers to learn and then be judged on multiple styles of dance.Coming from a point of view of just a "regular person" I watched So You Think You Can Dance and fell in love. It does have a lot of the same tricks as American Idol, but there's one big and important thing that it does not share, and that is when they eliminate the contestants for the purpose that America does not pick the best dancer based on just personality. What actually happens is that America picks the bottom three couples, and then they each have 90 seconds to prove themselves(it is obvious who has practiced or not) and then the judges eliminate two of them. And I think majority of the time, the judges give very good reasons, they are not biased, they are fair. But afterwards, when it comes to the top 5 couples, they are separated and then randomly chosen for one another to see the chemistry they can have with other partners. In that voting process, America chooses who stays and who leaves, until the final four where one is chosen as America's favorite dancer. (not America's best dancer) Another thing I liked about the judging process is that they switch judges to prevent a bias, but they are usually judges of different styles just as the contestants are. The contestants are obviously chosen because of their strength in their own style, but in the process of trying out,Don't get me wrong. I still enjoy the show for the most part, but the quality of the show has gone down drastically since the last season. This year, I'm finding the judges comments to be somewhat questionable (especially Nigel's criticisms). The judges should be able to remain impartial to the audience/viewers and not make it so obvious and in your face who their favourites are. This year, the obvious pimping of Katee and Will is enough to make viewers disinterested in anything the judges have to say. I know for me, half of the time I tune them out, because their comments no longer mean much to me. They should remain unbiased and objective. They've failed miserably. Yes, they've pimped dancers in the past, but this year it's downright pathetic.
The quality of the dancing as well is not as high as it was last year, maybe they're just not finding dancers of the same calibre that they found in the past. While the judges picked the "best", there is an overabundance of contemporary dancers which makes the show less interesting to watch(at least when the dancers perform their solos). It doesn't help that the same dancers are "choosing out of a hat" the same genre of dances over and over again. I mean Comfort getting hip-hop multiple times when that's her specialty? How is that statistically possible when there are enough genres out there that there should be little to no repeats?! The types of dances are getting repetitive. As much as Nigel hates to admit it( as he insists each season is their "best season yet"), the show is on its last breath pulling all the strings in attempt regain its old glory that has long gone. Even their celebrity appearance like Lady Gaga and Ellen DeGeneres can't save them from their doom.(quite the opposite, these guests contribute next to nothing to the critique of the dances. Jumped the shark much?)
So what went wrong?
First and foremost, the dance itself. THE SHOW IS NO LONGER ABOUT DANCE. What fills the empty space that dance once did is drama. I get very annoyed after watching a half an hour audition episode, over one hour of which shows horrendous supposedly hilarious performances by those who only want their 15 minutes on TV, tearjerkers and people that relate to the past contestants on the show for a novelty boost. The 30 minutes or less that do show good dancers are filled with stale contemporary routines we have seen again and again the past seasons, watered down unoriginal "hip-hop" such as the animation robot, break dancing that hardly evolved the past 5 years...I was quite upset when the judge put through a female dancer this season, 2/3 of whose chore was taken straight from season 8's Jordan's solo on the show. If the judges didn't care enough about their own show to recognize the blatantly obvious plagiarism, why should we?

The show is pretty accurate in the way they portray the women (especially the hierarchy: groupies are at the bottom of the pyramid, the girlfriends are next, the wives close to the top, and the footballers' mothers at the very top) and the players (especially how the veterans refer to the newbies as simply "Rookie".) The show has its funny moments, but does need better writing. The show is brilliantly cast, with several familiar faces from very popular shows.

I have no idea why the scenery would change so drastically, you'd think they would simply move all of the set's from LA to Atlanta and keep them intact, instead they went fresh with everything and threw-off the vibe the show had.. Even the quality of the film is bad, it's almost amateur HQ Camcorder-ish.

They have given him sort of multiple personality complex thing going. "You my boy Malik", " Yo 'F' you Malik!" "Let's get you to rehab Malik." "Man Malik's career is over Yo 'F' him." Isn't he the church boy? Is Derwin and Jason the same character now? Is every character the same type of person! What happen to the diversity in the roles. This is not the show we all clamored and protested for since 2009 through 2010.

The new ABC Family original series Twisted is a one-hour drama full of twists and turns. Jo and Lacey must decide if their childhood friend is unforgivable, or if he's really a victim being persecuted for his own twisted secrets.I was even less sure of what's what which obviously means a job well done, courtesy of the intriguing mystery of the main character. If I don't let myself get seduced by the already-seen-irritating-makes-me-wince teen stuff which will no doubt rain on us in the coming episodes, I think I might become a fan of the show. Surprisingly, this being a teen show and all, I have not yet found something annoying about it. I like the plot, the unanswered questions, the characters, honestly it's all good. Especially Danny, Avan Jogia makes him quite believable.Twisted, which is a kind of project that can both be fantastic and awful - depending on whether or not they pull off the mystery element of the series. And thankfully, it has. I find myself excited for each episode, because the show is fascinating and suspense (and twisted), and I feel that I HAVE to follow the process from beginning to end.
The murder mystery builds up to be quite the thriller. Danny is not the only one who seems to have an agenda with everything he does: Most of the characters look like they in one way or another have something to hide. Even though it does not have any explicit violence scenes, it sometimes still manages to be quite scary. The dramatic intrigues are well thought through and never boring.
The plot admittedly drives a lot of the show, but it is also important to have interesting characters in it to make it a bearable show, which it (again, thankfully) does. It has a complicated, mysterious main character that we immediately take pity in, and who we desperately wish is innocent, at the same time we know he has something to hide.
Avan Jogia is brilliant as Danny, as he manages to show huge vulnerability and a tortured soul behind the charismatic, witty, charming and sarcastic character he plays. Danny has more layers than ten onions, and Jogia covers them all with ease. Perfect casting from the showrunners there. Although the two female leads, Madelaine Hasson and Kylie Bunbury, have somewhat less to act on than Jogia does, they both deliver fine performances, and they also do have great chemistry with Jogia.
They are supported by a mostly good supporting cast. Ashton Moio is an absolute revelation as the show's much needed comic relief, who is loyal (if a bit awkward), but also somewhat vulnerable. Moio steals almost every scene he is in with his remarkable comic timing. Sam Robards is always a safe bet. However, I do feel like Denise Richards is terribly miscast.I never quite know what to expect when you hear about a new teen drama series. However, this caught me by surprise and kept me interested through the show. I never once thought to myself...come on now, when is this going to get better. I actually can't wait for next episode to air! I am certainly intrigued and love it when I come across either a show or a good book that I look forward to finding out what will happen next. So with that said, I want to say thank you to the writers and producers for the so far great concept and keep up the good work! Online Rizzoli & Isles Season 4 Episode 2 In Over Your Head Review
A Boston police detective and medical examiner combine their skills and talent to solve murders. Perhaps their strikingly different personalities make the relationship between detective Jane Rizzoli and medical examiner Maura Isles so effective. Jane, the only female cop in Boston's homicide division,Live Streaming Video Free Online Tv at Home Game online for Live stream Video on your Online TV Broad cast is tough, relentless and rarely lets her guard down, while the impeccably dressed Maura displays a sometimes icy temperament -- she is, after all, more comfortable among the dead than the living. Together, the best friends have forged a quirky and supportive relationship; they drop the protective shield in each other's company, and combine their expertise to solve Boston's most complex cases.This is a cop drama that doesn't follow the typical cliché as in establish good guys here, insert bad guys there, make snitch talk, show ends. Finally someone realized that its much more interesting to make 2 interesting characters and give them lives around which their job revolves and not the other way around. Rizzoli is a headstrong cop whose Italian upbringing shows through, this is the type of woman you can see growing up with 3 brothers and kicking their ass around the house the whole time. Isles on the other hand is a socialite more of a impressed by the complexity of the world and enjoying every second of the mystery around it. Together it's brains and brawn with just a nice dash of sexy, and the back and forth is right on point to keep pace. TNT used initially weren't overly interesting and some of the critics gave this new show mediocre ratings. That being said, I'm glad I chose to ignore the critics (as usual) and give this new cop drama a shot. Glad I did. It rolls right along with well written story lines and nice touches of humor here and there to lighten up what could be a very dark premise. I can't rave enough about the casting of Angie Harmon as the tough-talking but occasionally insecure police detective Jane Rizzoli, who's driving ambition and outer roughness bely a compassionate individual who's trying to do the right thing, no matter what. Sasha Alexander is a wonderful breath of fresh air as Maura Isles, the science and medicine half of this dynamic duo. She plays Isles with just the right amount of nerdy quirkiness to make the character endearing and brilliant, without crossing over into annoying know-it-all territory. What makes this work is the great chemistry between the two female leads, who come across as believable in their roles without sacrificing appearances too much. You could actually picture Harmon as a cop because she conveys it so well. The supporting cast is wonderful as well and it's awesome to see the uber talented Donnie Wahlberg back in front of cameras where he belongs. No offense to his New Kids On The Block gig but, the man is a decent actor and should definitely keep working that particular side of his talent. This is a great new show and so far, the stories move with a quick, satisfying clip to them so boredom is not an issue.However, I am happy to admit I am wrong. Angie Harmon shines in Rizzoli and Isles and it is apparent from their chemistry that they are both having a great time doing a project they are completely committed to. The dialog between the two of them is so funny and entertaining especially when Maura goes on a tangent and provides useless facts with such sincerity and genuine intent to educate.
The dynamic between them was cemented in the episode, Money for Nothing, when the working class girl and the débutante had to decide if they were going to have each other's backs.

The biggest one involves setting a garage on fire, blinding one person and blackmailing another to make him take the wrap for it all.
Upon first meeting the girls, it is difficult to find anything to attract you to them and make you care. They come off as brats that you can't muster up any sympathy for. But as the first episode moved on, the character's evolved into deeper characters and show viewers that despite their unadvisable actions, they are actually just misunderstood and sometimes a little lost.
While they try to sort out their personal dilemmas, they also try to stop the threatening messages and figure out whether the texts are actually coming from their dead friend--or maybe just the friend they thought was dead--or if they are from someone with some other motive to wreak havoc on their lives. People with motives pop up around every corner and just when you think you've found the actual identity of "A", something happens to prove you wrong--you suspect someone different after every episode, which keeps you guessing.ABC Family teen dramas (i.e. - Secret Life of the American Teenager) I found that Pretty Little Liars has much better character development and the actors who portray them are all very believable and talented. Each character has their own interesting subplot which is what really drives the show. The initial idea of teenage girls being blackmailed definitely was not interesting to me but after the first episode I found myself hooked. I felt like I had to know what happened next to each character, even the ones that seem to have more minor roles.
