Online Ray Donovan Season 1 Episode 9 Road Trip Review

Ray Donovan, a professional "fixer" for the rich and famous in LA, can make anyone's problems disappear except those created by his own family.Live Streaming Video Free Online Tv at Home Game online for Live stream Video on your Online TV Broad cast I may have had my expectations set a little too high for the pilot episode of Ray Donovan. I was hoping the pilot of RD would be as good as the pilots of other Showtime shows, Homeland/Dexter, but unfortunately it was not. The pilot was confusing, and it was hard to keep interested at times. I only say that because there were so many characters being thrown at you very quickly. I am not saying that this show has too many characters (even though a lot of people on this site seem to think so), I am just saying they should ease into the supporting characters and their story lines. With that being said, I think they have some great characters on the show, with a ton of potential. It helps when you have amazing actors, i.e. Liev Schreiber, Jon Voight.

I am really excited to see what will transpire in the first season of Ray Donovan. With great actors and great writing, I think this could be the next great Showtime show, maybe not the quality of Homeland or Dexter (seasons 1, 2, 3, 4, and 7), but we won't know for sure until at least the end of this season. My hope is that it can become the next Mad Men or Breaking Bad like some critics have been saying.

One last thing: I think people should not hate on this show (or any show) just by only watching the pilot. Unless you really hate it or it is something that doesn't interest you at all, you should give it at least 3-4 episodes before making a decision. The show starts of with Mickey Donovan being released from prison on probation. Right after he is released he kills a man. It then cuts to Ray Donovan being a woken by a call, the man on the phone woke up next to a dead person. Later on Ray is with his family, he has a daughter and a son. Ray takes care of the man. He then goes to his other client who wants him to stalk his girlfriend. While he watches her, there is a man outside her house watching her. Ray gets his license plate number, and goes to her door, and tells her what has happened. It turns out that that they know each other. She has a drink, and then they begin to kiss. It turns out that she has Epilepsy, and she has a small time seizure. Later on Ray is in the stalkers room, and threatens him not to go near her again, and if he did he would die. Ray goes to his brother and his brother tells him that his father is coming, and he has a half brother. After that they go to his clients party, where his client feels betrayed and tells his wife that he ****** the girl. His wife gets mad. He then brakes the old clients finger. Later on Ray talks to his wife, and warns her to stay away from his dad, because he is coming. Back at the girls house, she is doing yoga in her living room, and the stalker is on her patio watching her. Later on Ray and his father meet, and they talk. Ray gets mad, and leaves. As the episode comes to a close, Ray is beating the stalker to death. Meanwhile back at Ray's house, Mickey is at the front door, Ray's wife lets him in, and the episode ends with Mickey hugging the daughter.

Online Unforgettable Unforgettable Season 2 Episode 5 Past Tense Review

Unforgettable stars Poppy Montgomery as Carrie Wells, an enigmatic former police detective with a rare condition that makes her memory so flawless that every place, every conversation,Live Streaming Video Free Online Tv at Home Game online for Live stream Video on your Online TV Broad cast every moment of joy and every heartbreak is forever embedded in her mind. It's not just that she doesn't forget anything - she can't; except for one thing: the details that would help solve her sister's long-ago murder. Carrie has tried to put her past behind her, but she's unexpectedly reunited with her ex-boyfriend and partner, NYPD Detective Al Burns (Dylan Walsh), when she consults on a homicide case. His squad includes Det. Mike Costello (Michael Gaston), Al's right-hand man; Detective Roe Saunders (Kevin Rankin), the junior member of the team; and Detective Nina Inara (Daya Vaidya), a sassy, street-smart cop. Being back on the job after a break feels surprisingly right for Carrie. Despite her conflicted feelings for Al, she decides to permanently join his unit as a detective solving homicides - most notably, the unsolved murder of her sister. All she needs to do is remember.I totally love everything about this show ... the concept is fantastic and actually believable! All of the actors are superb, particularly Poppy Montgomery, Michael Gaston and Dylan Walsh! Also, the skepticism shown by team members Kevin Rankin and Daya Vaidya are absolutely perfect!

In a lot of ways, Carrie is the female version of Patrick Jane from The Mentalist. I love the strength and vulnerability displayed by Carrie and Patrick Jane. Jane's wife and child were murdered by Red John and Patrick feels responsible because he taunted Red John on television. With Carrie, the murder of her big sister, Rachel, when they were children, was a traumatic event that is compounded by the fact that Carrie she can't remember specific details of Rachel's murder and it remains unsolved. It haunts Carrie as an adult because it's the ONLY thing in her entire life that she CAN'T remember! Carrie's childhood experiences with cops and shrinks investigating Rachel's murder, make her a better cop as she is more aware of the trauma being experienced by both victims and witnesses alike.

Good writing, good acting and good time slot are all high praise to CBS! I just hope they will give Unforgettable a fair chance to develop a strong following. Having Poppy Montgomery with her Criminal Minds fan base and Michael Gaston with his Mentalist fan base are an added bonus for the show. Having the show follow solid shows like NCIS and NCIS: LA make Unforgettable's ratings almost a guarantee.I am a fan of The Listener so another show with similarities is fine by me, I am not sure what the other reviewers were watching but it could not have been the same show as I watched. The one I watched was quite good and I really liked Poppy Montgomery and Dylan Walsh. I can not recall any other shows that Poppy Montgomery has been in but I liked Dylan Walsh in one of my favourite movies, The Lake House.

Poppy Montgomery plays a former Siracusa police detective named Carrie Wells, who suffers from hyperthymesia, a rare medical condition that gives her the ability to remember everything she sees and hears, only a very small number of people in the world have been documented as suffering from it. Her neighbour is murdered and as part of the investigation, her former boyfriend and one-time partner discovers she is a witness and asks her to join his homicide unit to help solve the case.

By day she is a volunteer at a aged care facility and by night she plays blackjack to support herself.

During the show with repeated flashbacks we start to discover that her sister was murdered and that she is still trying to find out who murdered her.

I thought the pilot was quite good and not being from the USA I did not care that the accents were not genuine as some of the other reviewers have complained about.

I recommend it to anyone wanting to watch another police show with a few special abilities thrown in.

I gave it an 8 and will continue to watch it until it is canceled like so many other good shows these days.

Online Catfish The TV Show Season 2 Episode 10 Artis & Jess Review

How do young people who've embraced the digital age find love? Often, it's by connecting online with people they've never met in person. These days, messaging on iPhones has replaced the dinner date, and emailing through social media sites often substitutes for face-to-face conversations.Live Streaming Video Free Online Tv at Home Game online for Live stream Video on your Online TV Broad cast The problem with this approach - the guy or girl you've fallen for could be lying about who they really are. Now, from the producers of the acclaimed documentary film, Catfish, comes a new MTV series that brings together couples who've interacted solely through their LCD screens. Over the course of months or years - these romantics have become smitten - but what will happen when they meet in real life for the first time? In each episode, with the guidance and help of the star of the Catfish movie, Nev Schulman, and his filmmaking pal, Max Joseph, a hopeful romantic partner will go on an emotional journey to discover the truth about their significant other. Has that object of affection been telling the truth? Will true love truly blossom? When that fateful knock on the front door finally comes - only one thing is certain - that these incredible voyages will be filled with mystery, uncertainty, forgiveness, joy, and sometimes, even shocking revelations.Catfish follows around Nev and his film crew, helping love struck people expose the true identities of their online flirtations. Some of the anonymous love interests turn out to be exactly who they are... but others aren't so lucky.

I've never watched the Catfish documentary which started the TV series, but now I'm tempted to. There's something so appealing about the whole anonymous relationship thing, since it's something that's become the norm in our culture and a whole new way of dating and courtship.

I like the way the show is set up. We learn not only about the main person looking for their online friend, but we get to learn about the person behind the profile, despite them remaining anonymous to us throughout the first 30 minutes of the show. The camera work is straight forward and inviting, we even see Nev's friend Max constantly recording everything!

The only issue I have with this show is, once you have seen the outcomes of a few episodes, you will know what to expect from the rest, which kind of takes away the shock value that makes this show seem so appealing.Catfishing is one of those concepts that one can only truly understand if one has experienced it. And personally, I think that only people that have been catfished can truly understand this show and the people in it.

People here say that it seems fake, because there is no way that the people being catfished would be so stupid. But no, let me tell you that that point is completely realistic. No one seems to understand that when you feel so captivated by someone, you accept everything that they tell you and even become delusional. You start to believe all their excuses and even feel guilty about questioning their identity.

I am glad that they always try to get the other side of the story as well. We like to satanize catfishes and believe that they are just pure evil. But it really isn't always like that. No one understand how sad it is to be rejected by your appearance, how hard it is to have so much to say but no one to listen. People also seem to think that they go out of their way just to make their "evil catfishing plan" to work. But really, making a fake profile only takes minutes. Covering the holes with excuses is really easy as well, specially (as I said before) when the other person is so captivated that they begin to lose common sense. Most catfishes don't even have mean intentions, they just want someone to talk, but eventually things get out of hand. No one seems to remember how hard it is to come clean after lying for so long.

Some things (scenes) might be a little fabricated, but everything on TV is, and not only realities, also documentaries and news. And you know what? Even if the stories are indeed fake, I don't really care, because I know they can be real and I know much worse stories than the ones depicted here.

I really like this show, I am glad that MTV take this kind of risks to at least try to bring something different on air. I never thought that feeling awkward and cringing at the TV would be entertaining.

Online Devious Maids Season 1 Episode 10 Hanging the Drapes Review

Mexican format, "Devious Maids" follows four maids with ambition and dreams of their own who work for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills. Murder and mayhem collide in the mansions of Beverly Hills’ wealthiest and most powerful families.Live Streaming Video Free Online Tv at Home Game online for Live stream Video on your Online TV Broad cast Class warfare has never been as fun and dirty as it is in the tony enclave where the staff is as clever, witty, outrageous and downright devilish as their employers. Whoever holds the dirt holds the power, and before the season is over, illicit affairs will be revealed and deep dark secrets exposed as we learn the sordid details behind a shocking murder of a beloved housemaid.I am completely hooked on this series. It is well worth a watch. Starts off strong and keeps getting stronger. The drama gets more intense and much more interesting, and while it does, a mystery is being solved. I do think that the controversy surrounding this show is a bit ignorant. People think, "Oh, why do all the maids have to be Latina?" like as if it's really trying to exaggerate the fact that "all maids are Latinas" or vice versa, or the fact that all Latina women can only land stereotypical roles like being a maid. Have we not grown from thinking this way? Can we not just enjoy the fact that they have a show, with an all Latina cast, that is very enjoyable to watch? I think we have all risen from the ignorant, one-sided thinking of "all Latinas are maids"...or at least most us should have. This is a fun show to watch and follow. It shows that Latina women, even with being a maid, can be devious, have another side to them, have excitement in their life. They are not your Latina "stereotypical" maids. This show breaks the ties from your "stereotypical" Latina maid, it helps you realize that there are all different types of Latina women, and different types of maids. I'm pretty sure people don't think of all French maids as White, blonde women with short uniforms that always carry a feather duster around, so why not help break away the "stereotypical" Latina maids thought process by having a show that does just that. These characters have great minds and it's great to see a show with more than just only white people as the main cast (no offense). It's a nice, new change of pace. Why can't we all be happy that Latinas are getting more recognition, they are ruling a whole TV series in a "White-dominate" Hollywood. Yes, there are many multi-cultural actors and actresses in Hollywood, but have you seen a show where the main cast are all one culture that is not "White", or a movie? People have also commented "why can't they be lawyers or doctors, why do they have to be maids"? So only doctors and lawyers can be devious, be intelligent and have interesting lives? Are maids not allowed to have these personalities and traits too? Are maids only supposed to clean and that's all there is to them? This show is breaking boundaries. It shows Latinas have all different types of struggles and problems, not just the "cross the border, get a job, find a home and hope you don't get deported" struggle that every other show depicts. Why do we always have to find some type of controversy involving everything? All of these actresses have been successful in various roles that aren't maids, so how is this showing that Latina actresses can only land stereotypical roles? Watch this show with interest, not skepticism on whether or not this show is "racist". I highly enjoy it and hopefully, you will too. I will be following this show to the end, because I love the show, the script, and the plot, whether or not the cast is all White or all Latina. I'm a guy, so you'll have to excuse me when I proudly proclaim that Lifetime's "Devious Maids" is hot! So hot, in fact, that it's almost on fire (and reportedly, there is a fire somewhere in there within the first few episodes)! I also don't mean that the actresses are hot - because in fact they are, but so are the settings, the performances, the big rich houses, and the various situations that the characters find themselves in.

Marc Cherry (of "Desperate Housewives" fame) is the creator, and prominent Hollywood actress Eva Longoria (also of the aforementioned "Desperate Housewives" - a show that I'll readily admit that I never watched) is one of the show's key executive producers. Admittedly when I first heard about "Devious Maids" - which is adapted from a popular Mexican TV series called "Ellas son... la alegría del hogar" (which translates from Spanish into English as "They Are the Home's Joy") - I thought it was just more crap to keep us glued to the American idiot box for yet another hour that could be spent doing something else better with our lives and time.

But I'll say, right off the bat, that "Devious Maids" is crap well-worth watching and like the the best television out there, it's highly addictive and entertaining comedy/drama/whodunit murder-mystery that will keep you tuning in week after week for your weekly "Devious Maids" entertainment fix. So in other words: Welcome to your new TV addiction!

Online The Newsroom Season 2 Episode 7 Red Team III Review

From the mind of Aaron Sorkin, creator of The West Wing and screenwriter of The Social Network and Moneyball, comes "The Newsroom", a behind-the-scenes look at the people who make a nightly cable-news program.Live Streaming Video Free Online Tv at Home Game online for Live stream Video on your Online TV Broad cast Focusing on a network anchor (played by Jeff Daniels), his new executive producer (Emily Mortimer), the newsroom staff (John Gallagher, Jr., Alison Pill, Thomas Sadoski, Olivia Munn, Dev Patel) and their boss (Sam Waterston), the series tracks their quixotic mission to do the news well in the face of corporate and commercial obstacles-not to mention their own personal entanglements. tradition of his earlier 'behind-the-scenes of TV' shows, Aaron Sorkin's The Newsroom takes a hard (and witty) look at the behind the scenes of cable news. And like all his other shows, The Newsroom deals as much with themes of honour, ethics, loyalty, idealism and love, as it does with the news. It's also written in Sorkinese – Aaron Sorkin's fast-paced, back-and-forth, sing-song dialogue that'll leave you heady on a good day but with a headache on a bad one.

So, like critics have lambasted, is it "weighted too heavily toward sermonizing diatribes (LA Times)?" Maybe. Does it "choke on its own sanctimony (NY Times)?" Perhaps. Is it "yet another platform in which to Set the People Straight is a worthwhile purpose (Huffington Post)?" Most definitely yes. But is this all really so horribly, terribly bad? NO!

The main bone of contention for critics for this show seems to be that it tries too hard to be good, do good and instill good, just like all of Sorkin's earlier work. But when did that become a crime, in times of shows about becoming the next scrawniest supermodel, douchiest reality housemate or Tim Allen's 30th comeback? What's wrong with a show fantasizing about a world upheld by a long-forgotten morality in a time infested with shows that fall over each other to portray stark, grim realities and apocalyptic futures?

The Newsroom's got a fantastic cast with enough charm to last you till the next Woody Allen movie. Emily Mortimer's already got me falling in love with her, Jeff Daniel makes you really root for him, John Gallagher Jr and Alison Pill have an instant chemistry and Sam Waterson's singularly enough to bring you back every week. Yes, it's longer than it needed to be, and yes, it could have done with a little more Noam Chomsky and a little less Don Quixote. But really, as long as it does what so few show can ever claim to together – rouse you, make you think and ENTERTAIN, bloody well at that – who's complaining?

Admittedly, I'm a fan of Aaron Sorkin. I've seen (repeatedly) and LOVED Sports Night and The West Wing, and I think Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip is one of the best shows ever made. His writing has inspired me in the past, and after watching The Newsroom, I have all reasons to believe that it will continue to, well into the future. Rarely does a television show come along and sweep you off your feet with brilliant writing, an amazing cast and an actual message that is relevant and inspirational. Aaron Sorkin has done it again with The Newsroom! This show is truly a display of what television can achieve if we have the right people who are willing to break the rules of the mundane drab to make an engaging and intelligent show.

Jeff Daniels plays Will McAvoy, the cautious, veteran news anchor tiptoeing with his career in order to "play it safe", concerned more with keeping his ratings than stepping on toes. He has the smarts, the background and the ability to be something more, a challenger of beliefs and a defender of ideals, but lacks the motivation until Mackenzie MacHale (played beautifully by Emily Mortimer), a woman from his past, reenters his life. She is the spark to ignite his flame and gets him burning with an unquenchable passion once again.

Within the first five minutes of the show, Jeff Daniels delivers a speech of Aaron Sorkin's words about the state of America that is extremely touching, stimulating and brutally true for a vast majority of the population. It's reminiscent of his West Wing days, but with even more flare and aggression. I only hope he can keep the pace that he has set with the pilot; the bar is set high.

Online The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 5 Episode 13 Spaghetti Western & Meatballs Review

Season 3 is all about family as Teresa Giudice, Caroline Manzo, and her sister-in-law, Jacqueline Laurita, all return and welcome new housewives Melissa Gorga, Teresa's sister-in-law, and Kathy Wakile, Teresa's first cousin. The drama picks up where last season left off when holidays are celebrated, children leave the nest and tensions run high between housewives.Live Streaming Video Free Online Tv at Home Game online for Live stream Video on your Online TV Broad cast My mom has watched this everyday and I can tell that she is becoming more mean and she interrupts people and then does not want to hear what anyone else has to say. My mom picks our family apart on everything and can not pull herself away from the TV... she is addicted to this show....I don't know what to do. I feel like she has lost her soul. The shallow world view in the show makes her think that this is what life is all about. Drinking, picking others apart, and fashion and pretty things. I am pleading with my dad to remove BRAVO from the house because these housewives should not be aloud in the house they are not worth any sane persons time.3 of the housewives are related. Caroline is the elder sister in a family of 11, Italian. She is married to Albert Manzo who owns & operates the Brownstone in Paterson, NJ which regularly hosts wedding receptions. Carol and Al have 3 children. Chris & Lauren work at the Brownstone while one son is going to law school.

Her youngest sibling, Dina, is divorced & remarried to Caroline's brother-in-law. She has a teenage daughter and is an event planner at the Brownstone where she works with her husband & brother-in-law & other relatives.

The third wife is the sister-in-law and comes from Las Vegas. The fourth and fifth wives are the only ones who aren't related to the family but stir up trouble.

Teresa has three daughters and is married to a man who runs a construction company in NJ. The other wife is a divorced woman and mother of two girls who is seeking a man to take care of her, her daughters, and her lavish lifestyle.

I feel like the producers are aiming to maintain the Soprano stereotype about New Jersey. OKay, the first season is done & over with. I have to say that I'm relieved but it's painful to watch the reunion special. Only 4 are friends.

Danielle has been ostracized & vilified by Dina & Caroline Manzo for whatever reasons. Anyway, I hope the producers have some liability in creating this hostile environment for one of the women.

If I was Danielle who surprised everybody by being the breakout star of the show but she is vilified by the other women who can't stand to be in the same room with her. I have to say that they are not a bunch of roses. Caroline might call Danielle trash to her face but she's not much better being the interfering nuisance and control freak and the bully of the group. Her sister Dina is often the target of Danielle's attacks with good reason.

Dina paraded a book around the salon exposing Danielle's past life over 20 years ago as truth and tries to lie about it. Big sister bully Caroline covers up for her at a dinner party that Danielle and her daughters had to be there anyway.

Online Breaking Bad Season 5 Episode 11 Confessions Review

Bryan Cranston stars in this drama focused on a mid-life crisis gone bad for an underachieving high school chemistry teacher (Walter White), who becomes a drug dealer after he discovers that he has lung cancer. With a new sense of fearlessness based on his medical prognosis,Live Streaming Video Free Online Tv at Home Game online for Live stream Video on your Online TV Broad cast and a desire to gain financial security for his family, Walter White joins forces with an old student, Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), in a quest that follows their entry into a dangerous world of drugs and crime. those that would be content to label this show a Weeds knock-off, bear in mind that Breaking Bad is a new kind of monster. It touches on the very same themes, "living realistically as a middle class in the United States" which often makes us resort to extremes to survive. Like the mother and daughter team that robbed that bank. But the weed selling antics of Showtime's hit show is really nothing like "Bad." The Pilot was about as perfect a Pilot as I've ever seen, and much of it rests on Bryan Cranston's shoulders.

Cranston plays Cheimstry teacher Walter White. He has a loving wife, a child with Cerebal Palsy and another is on the way. He also happens to be dying from an inoperable lung cancer situation, which happened although he "never smoked." His finances in disarray, the once great student of science turns to crime to solve his problems.

He cooks Crystal Meth with a good for nothing ex-student. From the antics of the first episode, the show is leading towards a dark place, but a place of truth. This is a no nonsense black comedy. Now he essays the role of another father in the new series BREAKING BAD, but it's a shocking, bracingly refreshing turn that takes his 'Three Stooges' repertoire of grunts, shrieks, barks and neurotic ticks and virtually throws them out the window. Some of those qualities are still there, but unlike MALCOLM, BREAKING is the blackest of black comedies. When I first heard about it, the reviews I read compared it heavily (and favorably) to the Coen Brothers' dark crime comedy FARGO. And the comparisons are aptly warranted.

This is one of those series where the less you know about it going in, the better, but just to set your mind reeling with the possibilities, here it is in a nutshell: Cranston plays high school chemistry teacher Walter White, who is constantly battling the lackadaisical attitudes of his disinterested students, the looming specter of financial disaster - by supplementing his paltry teacher's salary with a second job at a local car wash, and trying to cope with the impending arrival of a new baby, even as he and his wife raise their disabled teenage son, whom unlike many stereotypical portrayals of handicapped kids is no Pollyanna-like angel.

Then in the midst of all this, Walter makes a shocking discovery: he has inoperable lung cancer, and therefore only a few years left to live at best. Facing the very real possibility of leaving his family struggling not only with his death, but a financial situation that could only end in catastrophe, Walter suddenly has a revelation, thanks to an idea handed to him by his boorish brother-in-law, who works with the DEA - he decides to become a crystal meth dealer.

Okay, so while you're letting your brain take that all in, you also need to know that this is one of those defining roles where you just know that the lead actor will get Emmy recognition, whether he intended to or not. That is just how good Cranston is as Walter. In fact, he's every bit as good as Michael C. Hall's Dexter Morgan, James Gandolfini's Tony Soprano or Harold Perrineau's criminally under-appreciated Augustus Hill. And he's backed by an amazing supporting cast of mostly new or unfamiliar faces (with the exception of Dean Norris as the brother-in-law).You can tell from the word 'go' that writer/producer/director Vince Gilligan (former head writer/exec producer on THE X FILES) has been champing at the bit for a while to let fly with a project like this. And if the first episode is any indication, AMC has another real winner on its hands. So MAD MEN will need to move over and make some room...since BREAKING BAD isn't the kind of series to "ask nicely."

Which brings up another important point: this is not a series for everyone, the way that FARGO and Showtime's kindred-spirit drug dramedy WEEDS are not mainstream, either. This is sharp, biting, satirical social commentary that draws blood when it sinks its teeth in, and you are guaranteed to wince even as you laugh out loud at Cranston's dead-on portrayal of a MAN on the edge of a nervous breakdown (well, more like over the edge.)

A caveat for would-be viewers, though, and a very ironic one at that: AMC has applied its ham-fisted method of editing its movies to this series as well, unfortunately, making the channel the LAST place you want to see it. The best thing to do is to check out the premiere episode whenever you can catch a rerun on AMC, then hustle on over to iTunes and download it so you can watch it again. Some very important scenes and some impressive establishing shots have been "edited for time and content" from the broadcast version, and this is material that IS essential to your experience viewing this show. There is a lot more to the characters and situations than you will be allowed to see on basic cable. So as you watch, keep that in mind.

Online Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 8 Episode 13 The Kardashian Chainsaw Massacre Review

business and fame engulf Olympic decathlete Bruce Jenner and paparazzi fave Kim Kardashian as their huge Hollywood families collide.Live Streaming Video Free Online Tv at Home Game online for Live stream Video on your Online TV Broad cast
matter how long you may look at "Keeping Up WIht the Kardashans", it has no value in any category whatsoever - just another entry into the 'fast food' genre of reality programing - lots of calories, non-filling and quickly forgetful.

Here you have another twenty something ungrateful Hollywood raised female woman-child, in another typically ungrateful for celebrity-family with parents who are so self absorbed and ungrateful towards themselves, that you wonder how they can have time left to be ungrateful towards the children under their roof/in their lives. But oh, they find time.

So what keeps you watching? The 15 minute 'clinique' beauty of the twenty something self described "socialite"? The little "naughty-bits" they sneak in of T&A just under the radar of standards and practices? The self-absorption of the parents? The back-talk and snotty attitudes the children are allowed to give to these parents? The unruliness of a blended family? Or just the idea of taking a peek into the life of "folks with celebrity" and then taking a look at your own life and realizing that mom and dad ....maybe aren't SO bad.

The beauty of freedom is that there will always be something for everyone. And in that freedom, you can take a look and decide if it's good or bad. For me, this show is bad, meaningless. This is not to say that all TV must be 20 hours of "Leave it to Beaver" or the "Brady Bunch". That's unrealistic. We've got to be exposed to real family dysfunction to see that that the world isn't always sugary sweet and pristine perfect. Not parents, not kids, not even our pets.

But programs like this are getting to be a standard. There isn't anything warm or exciting about viewing the life of a young woman who's already hit her peak - mentally, educationally, sexually - and is heading downward fast. Or her mother who IS allowing it - even if it is only due to her own self-absorption. And a father who couldn't care less because he ISN'T her father particularly, just another man in a long line of men that the mother has luckily hooked her claws into. And the household siblings - the siblings to whom you have a bet going that they will either run out of the home screaming for real love, acceptance, stability, boundaries - or end up just like their older sibling on a YouTube edited soft porn segment or even worse - a real one.
I obviously have too much time on my hands because I have probably seen three or four episodes of this show. Having grown up in Worcester, Massachusetts, I suppose that I was intrigued by the idea of a show about an Armenian–American family—not that the Kardashians much resemble any Armenian-American family I have ever known (other than that they are often big).

My hope is that the show is scripted, because, otherwise, these people are evidently incredibly shallow, and they all seem to suffer from an attention deficit. In one episode, "Learning Self Defense," a vandal comes to their shop, knocks merchandise about, and frightens the salesgirl. The Kardashian girls first decide to take a self-defense class for about 10 minutes, which leaves them brimming with overconfidence until step-dad and former Olympic athlete Bruce Jenner shows them that he can easily defeat them with very little effort. Rather than dedicate themselves to further lessons, the girls abandon this scheme, much the way that Wile E. Coyote, in the old Warner Brothers cartoons always tries a completely new scheme when the last one fails to provide instant gratification. Kris, the mom, then suggests that they go to a shooting range and learn to use pistols; however, after ten minutes the girls give up on this as well.

Not to be outdone in the stupidity department, the girls' brother and one's boyfriend come up with a hair-brained plan to disguise themselves as armed robbers in ski masks and stage a fake robbery in order to scare the girls into hiring a professional security service. It never occurs to them to try verbal persuasion or that it might be kindly of them to hire an hour of a security consultant's time and have him talk to Kim at no cost to her. Good thing the girls hadn't decided to acquire guns or they might have filled these two pranksters with lead. On the other hand, that might have been good for ratings.

It's a hard accomplishment to get someone to actually love a serial killer. But Dexter is one of those few attempts that works. It's not forced upon you- the show doesn't shove the whole "well this serial killer had a terrible childhood..." in your face. And it doesn't need to in order to get you to love its main character. You just do.

Michael C. Hall can play any emotion he's handed. Jennifer Carpenter fits her character perfectly, as does everyone else in the cast.

Then there's the actual story lines. It's not cliché. It's actually scary and chilling. It keeps you guessing. It's one of those mysteries that is very difficult to solve, but it still keeps your interest.

'Dexter' can also be hilarious when it wants to be, depressing when it wants to be and especially thrilling when it wants to be. And it doesn't come across as trying too hard.Dexter and Weeds, Showtime has a corner on the original new shows market. Not only are both of these shows completely original and innovative, but they are REALLY good.

Dexter, in particular, should not be reviewed by anyone who hasn't seen more than three episodes. I almost feel as if the first episode in the series is a tad-bit melodramatic (note Dexter screaming in the face of his first victim) just to pull in viewers that otherwise need something more visceral than a great screenplay.

By two more episodes the viewer should be absolutely intoxicated by the complexity of the character Dexter and the acting of Michael C. Hall. His own co-stars admit to being almost "scared" by how well Hall absorbs his character. Personally, I think that without Hall's mastery of Dexter there would be nothing to watch. Don't get me wrong, the plot of this show is extremely intriguing (and original, to be redundant), but the excitement lies purely in the way Dexter/Hall responds to A) his girlfriend, B) blood, and C) other serial killers.

I think that it is very reasonable to chuckle at Dexter's attempts to "fit in" social situations and I believe the writers of this show planned on it. What I am still stuck on, however, I'm ready to proclaim this the best show currently on TV, one that may someday rank with the likes of _The Sopranos_ and the first season of _Twin Peaks_ as a contender for the second best TV show ever (after the incomparable _Buffy the Vampire Slayer_; one of the show's producers and writers is former Buffy writer Drew Z. Greenberg, and the cast includes Buffy / Angel mainstay Julie Benz).

Dexter is a sociopath, someone with no human feelings and hence no natural, inner moral compass, and he has an unquenchable blood lust that drives him to kill. But he had the great grace to have been the adopted child of a police officer, who (as we see in terrific flashbacks) successfully instilled in him a complete moral code, which he adheres to on a strictly intellectual level. This is an utterly brilliant concept (which I assume derives from the novels it's based on), one that allows the writers to explore the nature of moral behavior and of what it means to be human (Dexter is, in a sense, an alien).

Coach was satisfied with his players, saying that they had better chances and can’t be happy with the draw only, but also saying that he saw improvement in their game and that the team only needs a bit more time in order to start playing more fluently. Still, Vitesse lost few important players during the transfer window and it will be very difficult for them to remain at the same classy performances they did last season. Nevertheless, they have enough talent and are expected to improve the performances over time. Twente is coming from the second consecutive victory in the league, winning in a great way with the result of 6:0 over Utrecht last weekend at home. Hosts took the lead in second minute and were dominant on the pitch for whole ninety minute, while they gave out a true spectacle to their fans.

Coach Michael Janses was happy with the team’s performance, saying that they played good football and deservedly won the match with a big scoreline. However, the team remains in the similar process like their today’s opponents, as they are also to overcome losing some of good players this Summer. They have showed that they have great talent inside their roster and are surely in a better form than Vitesse, while one of the biggest problems for them may be consistency on such a big level. Valuable midfielder Brama didn’t overcome injury, while recently acquired goalkeeper Stevens also remains sidelined, same as left back Schilder, all three being injured from the start of the season.
Vitesse have scored at least 2 goals in 11 of their last 12 home matches in Eredivisie.
Twente are undefeated in their last 12 away matches against Vitesse in all competitions

Twente is surely a bit more closer to get the victory, but Vitesse is showing signs of improvement and the guests can’t be trusted completely in a local derby game. However, the match should be open one, as the guests are working perfectly in attack and the chances for more than two goals scored are much higher than the bookmakers represent.

Tottenham V Swansea Barclays Premier League Match 25 -August 2013.Tottenham hope to have Aaron Lennon and Jan Vertonghen back after they missed the Europa League clash with Dinamo Tbilisi on Thursday.

Swansea's Nathan Dyer will again be missing because of the hamstring injury he sustained against Manchester United.

Ben Davies could come back in to the side after sitting out the Europa League tie with Petrolul Ploiesti.
MATCH PREVIEW

Tottenham have never lost at home to Swansea in the league and on the evidence of the opening day's fixtures they'll maintain that proud record with ease.

Chairman Daniel Levy has astutely gone about his business once it became clear that Gareth Bale wanted to go to Real Madrid. He's softened the blow for fans by bringing in exciting new players before the actual departure of the Welsh wizard.

Roberto Soldado followed in the footsteps of Tottenham legends Clive Allen, Jermain Defoe, Jimmy Greaves, Martin Peters, Ricky Villa and John White by scoring on his debut. He's banged in 16 in his last 14 games for club and country and will trouble a Swansea defence that caved in against Manchester United.

"Swansea will keep the ball and be neat and tidy but I don't think they have got enough to trouble Spurs.

"Swansea's start to the season - first against Manchester United and now Spurs - has been extremely tough but they do not have anything to worry about, as long as they keep hold of their best players."

Nacer Chadli can be a bag of tricks down the wing. Paulinho is a giant box-to-box midfield athlete, although he didn't hit his Confederations Cup highs on his Spurs debut, and Etienne Capoue is a solid central midfielder.

The return of Danny Rose gives them more pace at left back and, with more signings to come, Tottenham's season looks full of promise. For me, it's only a matter of time before they start genuinely challenging for the title even without Bale.

Like so many sides before them, Swansea's league form has dipped since winning the League Cup with just two victories from 12 Premier outings.

Although that's relegation form, I can't see them having any real trouble as long as they hold to Ashley Williams and Michu. The Welshman is the only really composed centre-back in their ranks and the Spaniard can only benefit from the arrival of the battleship Bony up front.

European football will be an exciting distraction, but they must get early league points on the board.

I can't see them returning with anything from the Lane though. Tottenham's squad is big enough to deal with two big games in four days. Swansea's resources will be stretched thinner.
MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head

Swansea have never won a league match at White Hart Lane in 15 attempts, losing 13 and drawing two.
Swansea last beat Tottenham in the league in October 1982, a 2-0 victory at Vetch Field.
They have only met eight times in the top flight. Spurs have won five and Swansea two,

Tottenham

Tottenham have lost just two Premier League matches since 9 December 2012. Those defeats came in back-to-back matches against Liverpool and Fulham in March.
Roberto Soldado's goal against Crystal Palace means he has now scored 11 goals in his last nine league matches.
The penalty he scored against Palace was the first Tottenham had been awarded in the league since 6 May 2012.
Against Palace, Spurs became the first team to field three Belgians in a Premier League starting line-up. One of those players, Jan Vertonghen, scored in both matches against Swansea last season.

Swansea

The Swans' 4-1 defeat to Manchester United on the opening day was the most goals they had conceded at home in a Premier League match.
In six away league matches in London last season, Swansea won three and lost three.
Only Aston Villa (two) had fewer league goals scored by a substitute than Swansea (three) last season. The Swans' only goal of this season so far came from a substitute, Wilfried Bony.

City are without influential captain Vincent Kompany, who suffered a groin injury against Newcastle on Monday.

Matija Nastasic may be pressed into action ahead of schedule after an ankle injury, while summer signing Stevan Jovetic has overcome the hamstring problem that kept him out last weekend.
MATCH PREVIEW

This fixture throws up the only two managers who went in to the season having never managed in the Premier League before. They have so far spent over £120m between them this summer, but have contrasting aspirations and pressures for the remaining 37 games of the campaign.

Manuel Pellegrini couldn't really have scripted a better start to life in charge of Manchester City. Their win over Newcastle was comfortable, clinical and also entertaining - but after over 25 years in management he is experienced enough to know tougher challenges lie ahead.
LAWRO'S PREDICTION
Image of Mark Lawrenson Mark Lawrenson Football analyst

"I am sure there will be a cracking atmosphere for Cardiff's first home Premier League game, but even that will not be enough to help Malky Mackay's side. Manchester City have got some top-class players and I don't think they will be intimidated. In fact, they will probably enjoy it."

Read Lawro's full prediction and score

This match potentially could be one of them. Malky Mackay will rightly be a proud man when he becomes the first man to take charge of a Cardiff City home game in the top flight for 51 years.

The last one, back in 1962, saw a 3-0 victory over a West Ham team including Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst and Martin Peters. Deep down he'll be dreaming of a similar upset. There will be a fantastic atmosphere to urge his team on for a fixture their fans were still dreaming about when they left Ninian Park five seasons ago.

If they are to be playing the likes of Manchester City again next season, then their home form will have to be strong. As if they needed it, their opening day defeat at West Ham was a reminder of the step up in quality on show.

City will hope to quieten the crowd as quickly as possible and will realise an away game at a newly-promoted team early on is often a tricky one. It will be a different type of experience for some of their new faces.

It will be fascinating to see how they really gel over the coming months, and just how different the team is to the one that finished 11 points adrift of neighbours United last season. For starters, Pellegrini will settle for another three points.
MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head

The last time the clubs met, then-Third Division strugglers Cardiff pulled off a shock 1-0 win over Premier League City at Ninian Park in the FA Cup fourth round in 1994. Nathan Blake scored the winner and Mark Grew saved a penalty from Keith Curle.
Their last league fixture was in the second tier in March 1985, a 2-2 draw at Maine Road.
The most common result of any meeting between the two clubs is a draw - 20 of their 47 matches have ended level, while City have won 19 and Cardiff eight.

Cardiff City

Cardiff are without a win in five league matches. They drew their final four matches of the 2012-13 Championship season.
But they have not lost at home since a 2-0 Championship defeat to Brighton in February.
Malky Mackay's side won a club record 10 successive home league matches from the start of last season.
Craig Bellamy has now played for seven Premier League teams, a feat matched by Andy Cole, Tal Ben Haim and Wayne Routledge. Only Marcus Bent (8) has played for more.

Manchester City

Against Newcastle on Monday, City completed 90% of their passes - the best ratio in the division in the opening round of fixtures.
Sergio Aguero has scored 24 of his 36 Premier League goals at the Etihad Stadium. City are unbeaten in all 27 Premier League matches in which he has scored (W25, D2).
David Silva's 15th Premier League goal - in the win over Newcastle - was the first he has scored in the English top flight with his head.
Yaya Toure has become the fifth Ivorian to play 100 Premier League matches (after Kolo Toure, Didier Drogba, Salomon Kalou and Emmanuel Eboue).

Middlesbrough goalkeeper Jason Steele is doubtful with an ankle injury so Jayson Leutwiler could deputise again.

Marvin Emnes is pushing for his first start of the season after coming off the bench to score Boro's equaliser against Blackpool last weekend.
MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head

• This is only the 12th time these clubs have met competitively, eight of which were Premier League fixtures, and Wigan are looking to score for the first time in four.

• The Latics have registered just two victories over Middlesbrough, and only one on home soil; that being 1-0 in the Premier League in August 2007 when Antoine Sibierski was on target.

• An 89th minute goal from Jeremie Aliadiere separated the sides in their most recent clash at this ground, when Boro completed a 1-0 top-flight victory in October 2008.

Wigan Athletic

• Wigan opened their home account with a 2-2 draw against Doncaster on Tuesday, when they retrieved a 2-0 first-half deficit.

• Now the Latics are hunting a first home win in five league games, since a 1-0 victory over Norwich on 30 March.

• The much-travelled goalkeeper Scott Carson could start his 200th English league game, while midweek substitute Jordi Gomez could start an English league game for the 100th time.

Middlesbrough

• The 1-0 victory over Charlton in their last away league game was Middlesbrough's only win this season, and their fourth from 24 league outings in 2013.

• Despite that, three points for the Teesside club would see them winning two of the first four games from the kick-off of a new league season for the fifth time in six years.

• Should Middlesbrough score, it would take their total of goals on the road under Tony Mowbray to 100 (all competitions).

MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head

• Nottingham Forest just have the edge after 38 league meetings since 1949; the east Midland club have won 13, Watford 12.

• But Watford have the better recent record with a 3-0 win at the City Ground in December last year and 2-0 triumph in this fixture eight months ago; Matej Vydra scored four of those goals and Troy Deeney, the other.

• Forest's only maximum in the last five Championship trips to Vicarage Road was 1-0 in September 2011, courtesy of Ishmael Miller's winner.

Watford

• The Hornets opened the season with a 1-0 win at Birmingham, then put six past Bournemouth in their first home league game, and shared six goals with Reading at the Madejski last time out.

• Victory will equal Watford's best start to a league campaign in 13 seasons.

• Last season's top Championship scorers have failed to find the net in only one of their last 17 league and cup games at Vicarage Road.

Nottingham Forest

• Forest defend the only remaining 100% winning record in the Championship, and the division's only surviving watertight defence.

• They are looking to bag 12 points out of 12 at the outset of a second level season for the first time in 16 years.

• Billy Davies' side have not scored more than two goals in any of their last 17 league games on the road.
