Based on the hit UK television series of the same name, Mistresses is a provocative and thrilling drama about the scandalous lives of a sexy and sassy group of four girlfriends, each on her own path to self-discovery. Live Streaming Video Free Online Tv at Home Game online for Live stream Video on your Online TV Broad cast 12-hour shift to watch something based in reality. I want something fluffy and ridiculous. Perhaps there are others that disagree with me. That's fine. But I do believe that you all should take this show for what it is. It's a one-hour escape from reality. And yes, the plot is silly and the acting is a bit forced. But is there really a need to attack it for lacking a feminist viewpoint? I see the real world every day. I don't need to see it when I kick back with a miller light and a puzzle. I don't get all the reviews that this is putting women back "30 years" and is "demoralizing." It's a F*CKING ABC soap opera. What I was expecting after seeing all the ads for Mistresses was a steamy summer drama in the same vein as Desperate Housewives. What I got was a surprisingly low key drama series focusing on four women all affected by infidelity in different ways. While the title would suggest that all four women go on some super soft Skinemax affair romp, the actual show is not just about mistresses, but also the wives of cheating husbands, and even the wives who cheat.
The core stories follow a woman recently widowed who is having a hard time dealing with the loss of her husband, a psychiatrist who was having an affair with married patient, a woman whose marriage is starting to hit some major road blocks due to fertility issues, and a young woman who enjoys sex but not relationships. All of these stories have been done on soaps a thousand times before, and yet I found myself enjoying the first episode. Why? It moved quickly, all four leads were perfectly cast, and the writer and director all found small, emotional moments to help the audience connect with the characters on some level.
I have a feeling that the title, more then anything, is what is turning most people off of the show. That disappoints me, because the show is not condoning infidelity. It is not show the subject in a positive light. It's just mining it for dramatic material, just like any daytime soap opera or night time drama has for years. What the heck was ABC thinking? Clearly they wanted to recreate whatever formula worked for the British original. Why wouldn't they? So what could go so horribly wrong?
From the moment it begins it is clear this is the anti-marriage show. It pushes a far left agenda and does it with all-too-serious acting to embarrassing dialog. Yunjin Kim is a personal favorite of mine, but she seemed befuddled by the script and her character. Her opening scene with Tom was so bad my jaw dropped and continued to drop as the show went on. "Oh! You're sick! You have cancer! Please make love to me!"
Every plot point is hammered home and every upcoming plot twist is being broadcast in advance. I knew Alyssa Milano (who's added weight was unsuccessfully hidden behind black clothing throughout) was going to cheat on her husband and bed her law partner the second they shared time on screen.
Does anyone not see a lesbian affair coming up between one of the all too pretty (aka Male Fantasy) house hunting lesbians and the younger sister? Why don't they just send out the obvious via Morse Code.
Poor Rochelle Aytes is saddled with the worst part. "Oh I am so sexy and drop dead gorgeous but my dead husband is haunting me by crank phone calls. He was the PERFECT husband so of course he would never cheat on me. Now excuse me while I continue to cancel dates with Jim Carey's clone so that I can cry with the girls." The writers on this turd deserve to be banned from Hollywood for life.
This type of show cannot work on Network television. It's too wanna-be steamy and sex filled for a commercial broadcast network where women have to sleep and have sex wearing their bras. This sort of content belongs on HBO or Showtime. Clearly the ABC suits want their very own Sex & The City in L.A. but instead they have The Naked Gun 4, From the Files of the Mistress Housewives. It's that bad.

A look at five families living in a protected Southern California enclave, and the real-life housewives who reside in one of the wealthiest planned communities in the country. In Season 7,Live Streaming Video Free Online Tv at Home Game online for Live stream Video on your Online TV Broad cast Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Barney, Gretchen Rossi, and Alexis Bellino welcome new brunette Heather Dubrow, a former actress and now stay-at-home mother of four, who's married to a prominent Newport Beach plastic surgeon. Reeling from the repercussions of last season's divorces and dissolving friendships, the series once again ventures behind the gates for a scandalous look at the loves and lives unfolding inside one of Southern California's wealthiest communities.Maybe this is playing well in some part of the United States and the World that finds this a guilty pleasure. Let me get one thing straight: The shows 'Dallas' and 'Dynasty' are a guilty pleasures - this is just plain sad.
I guess this is a program to show you what happens when little girls who have no exemplary role models in their lives except for plastic dolls like "Barbie" grow up and have to maintain a job and/or household. This actually takes place is a crappy suburb that tries desperately to raise itself up to be like Beverly Hills, Chicago, The Hamptons and Miami .. but does nothing but make you wish that a big wave would come and wipe the whole County out so it could start all over again.
These children's lives are sad and meaningless. The households are gutless. The women are very competitive with jewelery, fake boobs, shrieking "Bride of Frankenstein" voices, and dried out leathery skin that even makes George Hamilton blush. It's like watching the "walking dead" trying to stay alive by any means necessary - and that means finding "Ken dolls" with the appearance of lots of money.
And the men...for goodness sake, who would WANT these self-centered whiners? These women are falling all over them because of..THE MONEY! And the men are perfectly fine with that. What a trophy!! I was waiting for a few of the guys in the series to bronze the women they have and stick them on the dashboard of their leased cars! But they wont do that because that means they'll have to KEEP them. These are men that would trade their women in quicker than their coveted cars once their butt starts to sag.
Oh, but the children connected with these 'super-elastic bubble plastic' families. God help them. They may just go back to Orange county and wait until the next generation of vacuous self-designed "Barbies" or "Kens" come along that they can manipulate and support.
It's Orange County, for goodness sake. Orange County is a nice place, a great place, many kids grow up there just fine. All the folks in this series are picked are squeezed (forgive the puns) into a "certain section" for entertainment value only.

Online Under the Dome Season 1 Episode 9 The Fourth Hand Review
Based on Stephen King's bestselling novel about a small town that is suddenly and inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by a massive transparent dome.Live Streaming Video Free Online Tv at Home Game online for Live stream Video on your Online TV Broad cast As with every other Stephen King adapted miniseries this one started well, faded in the second round, and became formulaic by episode three. The characters are all two dimensional and been done too many times before. The dialog is trite and banal "it pays to be team player in this town" says the former high school quarterback. There is little suspense, little action, little romance and it's hard to get involved when there's 3 minute of commercials every 6 minutes. And yet the rating is hovering around 8 because of people voting after the first episode - If this was an ocean cruise I bet they'd have written on the voyage comment cards after the first night "Best time ever! I love the Titanic!" I just attended the premiere screening. I've always wanted to say that because it makes me feel special. Aside from that, I don't have the most informed opinion since I haven't read the book Under the Dome, but I can tell you this rocks.
Don't miss the first 2 minutes, or any 2 minutes really, because it starts off with a jolt and doesn't let up through the entire pilot. Key plot elements are thrown at you right up front, and they are all significant. So do your popcorn runs and bathroom breaks before the show starts; this is a fast paced show.
The special effects are impressive, and there's some nice disturbing gore to give you a nightmare or two. A memorable effect involving an unfortunate cow happens in the first few minutes that might turn you vegetarian for a night at least. Note, in the Q & A after the premiere, the producers were quick to stress that no cows were harmed; everything (including the equally impressive milk truck scene) was done by their excellent digital effects team.
I leave you to figure out the plot. I'll just say it's a very classic Twilight Zone type story which is meant to entertain, frighten and stimulate your mind. Stephen King talked about how he wanted to create an allegory for the planet Earth itself, focusing on how humans behave when faced with the urgent reality of a desperate, isolated situation with limited resources and most importantly no clear direction, authority and answers. Do we spiral into anarchy ...or create order? Do we work together ...or tear each other apart? Here in the 21st century as our civilization comes to grips with the limitations of Earth, this series presents one of the most appropriate and thought-provoking metaphors in the last 10 years.
For the book purists out there, note that Stephen King (Executive Producer) appears to be an active part of this production. Yes, apparently there are some changes, but Stephen has given them his stamp of approval and seems to stand behind this adaptation 100%. And how can anyone not? From what I've seen, this is good solid entertainment that raises some powerful philosophical ideas. What could have been an intriguing story has been ruined by a terrible script and even more terrible acting, not to mention a ridiculously over-the-top attempt at political correctness.
Chester's Mill, a beautiful town in the middle of nowhere with cute little houses and perfectly manicured lawns, is probably also the most diverse place in the entire world. This sparsely populated village that fits neatly under an invisible dome has Caucasians, African Americans, Asians, Latinos, Native Americans, and mixed race lesbian couples! The only group that seems to be missing is single Sri Lankan gay men.
Everyone seems to co-exist just fine, even though it's not clear if anyone in the town actually has a job, except for Beth Broderick, the local diner waitress who pours coffee all day, Natalie Martinez, the most incompetent cop ever to make it onto the force, and the dreadful Rachelle Lefevre as the local hard-as-nails journalist who spends most of her time skulking around through open fields and taking pictures of air. No wonder she lost her big city newspaper job and ended up under this plexiglass shield.
Once that darned dome comes down, Chester's Mill becomes a modern day Peyton Place and everyone's deep, dark secrets begin to surface. The problem here, though, is that none of the characters is compelling or sympathetic. We just wanna find out what's up with that dome, but instead, we're forced to watch these poorly conceptualized folks interact with each other with eye-rolling dialogue like, "So they say you're passin' through town. What are you runnin' from?" Every now and then, someone mentions they're worried the dome may collapse onto Chester's Mill. Frankly, my fingers are crossed that's exactly what will happen.

Online Switched at Birth Season 2 Episode 21 Departure of Summer Review
Tells the story of two teenage girls who discover they were accidentally switched as newborns in the hospital. Bay Kennish grew up in a wealthy family with two parents and a brother, while Daphne Vasquez, who lost her hearing at an early age due to a case of meningitis, grew up with a single mother in a working class neighborhood. Things come to a dramatic head when both families meet and struggle to learn how to live together for the sake of the girls.Live Streaming Video Free Online Tv at Home Game online for Live stream Video on your Online TV Broad cast I rarely begin to follow a television show while it is in its first season for fear that it will be canceled. Yet this one drew me in and I cannot get enough of it. The idea of being switched at birth is so bizarre, and the dynamics of both families are so real. The raw emotion and feelings portrayed by these characters makes me feel sorry for and sometimes resent them all at the same time. The drama always keeps me eager to see what will happen on the next episode. The writers may have struck gold with this one.
Katie(Daphne)and Vanessa(Bay) play two very different girls that are connected by this event that happened to them so many years ago. Even though they have nothing in common, they have more in common than they realize. Constance(Regina)is stubborn yet likable and plays it beautifully, as do the two actors who play the other set of parents. Each character has a way of making you care about them, a way of making you root for them to make the right decision. Great job ABC Family, keep up the good work and I'll be coming back for more every Monday night. The actors are fine and the character development and premise of the story is quite involving. If the writers consistently produce solid scripts and story arcs, this show should do well. The idea of the switched at birth formula mixed with the prince and the pauper fable (and the deaf girl embellishment) makes for a rather refreshing plot backdrop. With this set up, they can go anywhere and everywhere with it. Also, there are many details that can make for interesting plot situations, ethnic and cultural diversity, economic class disparity, family situations (one doesn't have a father, the other has a grandmother), so many different things that the writers can play off of. It's good that neither of the two girls are super famous actresses. It would take away attention from the story. The writers have also avoided falling into the stereotypical cliché of everything involved with race and economic diversity. It would be great if the show concentrates on the human drama and that it stays away from politically correct preaching. On the whole, the show does indeed show promise.I have not seen an ABC family show or let alone an American TV show that discusses the values of family and the purity of relationships since Gilmore Girls. Though, I'll admit that I rarely watch American shows anymore, simply because most of the series nowadays are atrocious. Shows like, Gossip Girls and Sweet Life are only about teens yearning to satisfy their hormonal/whiny needs. Their characters are two-dimensional cardboards and the story lines are abysmal or they fall flat overall. Even though Pretty Little Liars doesn't fall under the same category as the two shows mentioned above, the main plot line is extremely unrealistic. The characters are stagnant or they develop in ways where you don't feel emotionally invested in them. They're just actors glamoured up with pretty/trendy clothes. I'm tired of the unnecessary suspense and how unrealistically they react to certain dilemmas.
Switched at Birth has so much more heart and soul then all of those shows combined. Nonetheless, I admit that those were my once upon a time guilty pleasure. After viewing Switched at Birth, I feel shameful for even admitting that.

The savvy and serene Chilean Manuel Pellegrini has been tasked with bringing togetherness back to Manchester City after they lost their Premier League crown and the FA Cup final under the authoritarian and sometimes alienating stewardship of Roberto Mancini.
Newcastle's appointment of Joe Kinnear as director of football at the forefront of player acquisition was, and remains, hugely divisive.
Kinnear was never going to be a popular appointment with the fans after an ill-fated spell in charge of the club in 2008-09, but the lack of summer signings and confusion over his role alongside manager Alan Pardew has intensified the ire.
