MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
• Blackpool and Sheffield Wednesday were four and three points above the relegation zone respectively, when they fought out a drab goalless draw at Bloomfield Road in April.
• The Seasiders are unbeaten in five league and cup matches against Wednesday (W2, D3), and the Owls have scored only one goal in those matches since completing the Championship double over Blackpool in 2009-10.

• Since losing top spot in mid-September after winning five and drawing one of the first six, Blackpool have managed just two victories in the last 10 outings; both of those were while Paul Ince was serving his five-match stadium ban.

• The Seasiders are making their third attempt to notch 500 home wins in second level league football.
• They have taken the initial lead in 13 games, which is a joint divisional-high with Burnley, and share the distinction with QPR of not trailing at half-time in a Championship match so far this term.

The match of the final round against Basel will be the decisive one in the Champions League after Tuesday’s skinny 0-0 with Steaua in Bucharest.Watch Schalke 04 vs Stuttgart Live, Watch Schalke 04 vs Stuttgart Live Stream, Watch Schalke 04 vs Stuttgart Free Live Stream, Watch Schalke 04 vs Stuttgart Online, Watch Schalke 04 vs Stuttgart Online Free, Schalke 04 vs Stuttgart Live, Schalke 04 vs Stuttgart live stream Online. That was their second consecutive draw, but totally different from those 3-3, which they played in the last round in Frankfurt. The team was fairly changed, but they dominated and were closer to a victory. Didn’t play goalie Hildebrand, stopper Matip, striker Boateng, while midfielder Draxler entered the match as a substitute.
Now the team will be changed again, but it is not certain whether freshly recovered Hildebrand will be on the goal again. The dilemma is who will play the stopper, Felipe Santana or Matip, while Draxler and Boateng will be certainly in the starting eleven. Farfan might take a break and in that case young M. Meyer jumps-in.
Probable lineups Schalke 04: Fahrmann – Uchida, Howedes, Matip (Felipe Santana), Aogo – Neustadter, J. Jones – Farfan (Meyer), Draxler, Boateng – Szalai
VfB StuttgartStuttgart is again in a phase of unexpected results and has lot of difficulties to win, so in last six matches it won all three points just once. It plays much better away this season and has won only once in front of its fans, while last three victories were won away. They have bad days even when playing away, like the one in Dortmund when they were outclassed with even 6-1, after which they won in Freiburg, and then lost in the last round to Borussia M’gladbach in Stuttgart. Coach Schneider doesn’t change the team much, except when he has to, as it was the case when Boka got injured.
In the last round stopper Rudiger has returned, which obviously didn’t help otherwise very vulnerable defence, and the forwards have failed completely, so Borussia deservedly took points home. Some spectacular changes were not announced for this away match, and if any of it happens it will be in midfield where Leitner and Ti. Werner might take a break and Harnik and Traore will jump-in.
Probable lineups VfB Stuttgart: Leno – Schwaab, Niedermeier, Rudiger, Rausch – Kvist, Gentner – Harnik, Maxim, Traore – Ibisevic

However, Mainz have not beaten Saturday's opponents in their last six attempts, as Jurgen Klopp returns to a club where he both played and coached.
Dortmund have stalled somewhat in the Bundesliga recently, though, losing 2-1 at Wolfsburg prior to the international break before going down 3-0 at home to champions Bayern Munich last time out.
Despite injuries to the likes of Marcel Schmelzer, Mats Hummels and Neven Subotic, Dortmund kept their hopes of Champions League qualification alive on Tuesday night with a stirring 3-1 win over Napoli.
Sven Bender sustained a broken nose in that match but was able to finish the game, although Klopp is keen to leave any decisions on selection until as late as possible.
"We will look carefully to know who can cope with the burden [of playing twice in five days]," he mused. "We will deal with the issue of rotation and look for who is fit."
Klopp signed Manuel Friedrich in an attempt to bolster his depleted defence and revealed his pleasure at how the 34-year-old has fitted in at Signal Iduna Park.
"Manny embodies all that makes up our game and what we have shown in recent years," he said. "He has an exceptional character."
Dortmund have dropped points in half of their Bundesliga matches on the road this season, while Mainz have not lost at home in their last three.
Mainz coach Thomas Tuchel has also been handed a boost with the news that Zdenek Pospech is fit despite being taken off in the win over Werder Bremen, while Christian Wetklo is available for a return after serving his suspension.

Hard work should bring rewards. That’s standard thinking. With Eintracht Braunschweig, it gives little results, making them sit at the bottom if the table with only 8 points. Their first season in the top flight was earned very quickly, with successive promotions from the 3.Liga to the Bundesliga in only two seasons. But now, this team made mostly of journeymen, aside from defensive midfielder Marco Caligiuri (formerly from Mainz) and attacking midfielder Karim Bellarabi (formerly from Leverkusen).
Coach Lieberknecht plays many formations, but is favourite is a 4-3-2-1 that leaves possession to the other team… without being efficient in counterattack. In fact, these guys haven’t scored yet in this type of situation.
Braunshweig is not accurate in passing and is not much better at shooting on target. It doesn’t help that intercepting the ball isn’t exactly a skill, while going offside when attacking is only too frequent. It’s air game is OK, except for the central defence in the area. The worst team in the league is guilty of a lack of pure talent to make plays.
The only real attacking threat is Bellarabi, a two-way player. He likes to escape his mark and take a pass behind the defence, and has a good shot with a quick release. We’ve seen it when he scored against us in 2012 with Leverkusen. Striker Domi Kumbela also has a dangerous shot, but only two goals to show for it.
Past games have shown everything I just mentioned. Braunschweig fights with energy and some level of organization. It has been the victim of unlucky bounces on an own-goal.
On Matchday 12 against Hannover, their keeper Davari made a big mistake that almost gave their opponents a goal. When you are in such a difficult situation in the standings, you need the last man to be the most reliable one on the team. They were also poor when fighting for the ball in the air in the area.

These two teams head into this clash with very different mindsets.
Newcastle's response to losing the Wear-Tyne derby has been perfect, with nine points from nine available, including impressive victories over Chelsea and Tottenham. Confidence and belief will be rising all the time.
LAWRO'S PREDICTION
Image of Mark Lawrenson Mark Lawrenson Football analyst
"All of a sudden, Magpies boss Alan Pardew is flavour of the month again, when five or six weeks ago he was apparently going to be the next manager to go. That is the madness of the Premier League - things change very quickly.
"But it is this sort of game that has undone Pardew in the past, at home against beatable opponents."
Read Lawro's full prediction and score
West Brom's 2-2 draw with Aston Villa, though, will have felt like a defeat. The Baggies were cruising at 2-0, but were eventually held to a sixth draw of the season.
Newcastle will certainly expect to record a fourth straight win. The defeat at Sunderland is their only reverse in the last six matches, and for once all the talk on Tyneside is about matters on the pitch.
Whilst there was understandable frustration in the last transfer window about the lack of new faces, it's worth pointing out the effect that their one acquisition has had.
Loic Remy's season-long loan move from QPR hardly dominated the back page headlines but his influence so far has been immense. His goal against Norwich was his eighth league goal in as many matches and his 14th in the Premier League since arriving in January.
Steve Clarke, who returns to the club where his coaching career began 15 years ago as assistant to Ruud Guilt, will be well aware of Remy's threat.
This is the Baggies' 13th game of the season. At that stage last season, Clarke had recorded eight victories in a dream start as a manager but if he wins this it would be only their fourth win of the current campaign.
Whilst they are difficult to beat, with just one defeat in nine games, they've found it difficult to close out three points and move themselves higher in the table.
Two month ago a trip to Tyneside may have been an easier proposition, but now all the momentum is with Newcastle and Alan Pardew will hope it stays that way.
MATCH FACTS

All but one of Newcastle's 17 league goals this season have been scored by Frenchmen.
Prior to the latest round of matches in the top five European leagues, only Lyon (20) had more league goals from French players.
West Bromwich Albion
West Brom could become only the second team in Premier League history to draw 2-2 in three successive games. Liverpool did so between August and September 2002 (against Blackburn, Newcastle and then Birmingham).
The Baggies have drawn four of their last six league games. Their total number of draws, six, is the joint highest figure in the top flight (along with Everton).
They have lost only one of their last nine league games (W3, D5, L1).
Shane Long has scored three times in his last two league appearances. His second goal against Aston Villa on Monday was the 300th scored in this season's Premier League.

LAWRO'S PREDICTION
Image of Mark Lawrenson Mark Lawrenson Football analyst
"It is games like this that will ultimately decide Fulham manager Martin Jol's fate because, if his side get turned over easily by a West Ham side who are well known for not being able to score goals, then the pressure on him will get even more intense."
Read Lawro's full prediction and score
Sadly, this footballing meeting of East and West London is more likely to move spectators to tears than poetry.
West Ham and Fulham are error-strewn impotence personified at the moment, each in a dreadful tailspin towards the murky nether reaches of the Premier League.
Whether Martin Jol can survive another defeat is debatable - it would be a sixth consecutive loss in league and cup. Is Rene Meulensteen in place to provide encouragement and support to his countryman, or is he there to replace him?
New Fulham owner Shahid Khan has been known for his patience with the coaches of his NFL franchise, the often hapless Jacksonville Jaguars - and his patience there has recently been rewarded with two wins in three games after eight consecutive losses. But patience is an easier virtue when your team plays in a league with no relegation.
This is the Cottagers' 13th consecutive season in the Premier League and they haven't finished below 12th since 2008 - if they can get anywhere near mid-table from here they'll have done very well indeed.
So far, the scrutiny on West Ham boss Sam Allardyce has been less intense, but their results are hardly any better. Since the shock win at Tottenham, West Ham have taken two points from five games, scoring only twice.
That might be an inevitable consequence of playing without a recognised striker, a tactic which took Spurs by surprise but has not worked since.
Injuries and a lack of match fitness have forced Allardyce's hand. He has had to do without Andy Carroll, Mladen Petric, Ricardo Vaz Te and Carlton Cole, leaving him with the option of either the no-striker route or using Modibo Maiga, which is a frightening prospect - just not for the opposition.

The Tony Pulis era at Crystal Palace begins at Carrow Road as he starts the improbable, though not impossible, quest to keep them in the Premier League.
If he didn't appear to exactly jump at the chance to take over initially, there's no doubt Pulis is fully focused on the job at hand now he is on board.

"This is a bigger game for Canaries boss Chris Hughton than it is for new Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis because games like this against teams below or around them in the table are the ones Norwich need to win.
"After this, Norwich go to Anfield and The Hawthorns in the space of a week. They badly need to pick up points now."

As has been well documented, he's never been relegated and isn't about to suffer that fate now without a fight.
I believe he's a good fit for Palace at this moment in time, and stands as good a chance as anyone of getting the best out of the resources at his disposal.
Staying up would be a major bonus of course. He knows that, but luckily for him so does everyone else.
Norwich City also haven't been having the best of times lately and sit in 16th place in the table.
They're only four points better off than their opponents after a poor run that has seen them lose four of the last six league matches.
Manager Chris Hughton kept them up last season but is beginning to feel the heat this time round and the club's current injury situation isn't going to help.
Record signing Ricky van Wolfswinkel still isn't match-fit after injury and both Anthony Pilkington and Robert Snodgrass will be out for some time. Alex Tettey and Elliott Bennett are also out for the forseeable future.
It all adds up to less than ideal preparation for what already looks like a key game.
Palace have fared well against Norwich in recent years, winning 2-1 on both of their most recent visits to Norfolk and losing only one of the last 10 meetings between the two clubs.
The presence of a new manager and last week's win at Hull will give them cause for optimism this weekend too.

LAWRO'S PREDICTION
Image of Mark Lawrenson Mark Lawrenson Football analyst
"Everton put in a real rock and roll performance against Liverpool in what was far and away the best derby game I have ever seen. I cannot think of a better one.
"I am expecting a similar high-tempo attacking approach from Everton this weekend too. Because of the way they went at Liverpool last week, I don't think the crowd will let them sit back against Stoke and just knock the ball around."
Read Lawro's full prediction and score
A Stoke win this time is, on the face of it, the most unlikely outcome. They've only made victorious trips home from Everton twice in 22 visits since 1966, and have gathered only four points from six away games this season.
All in the past perhaps, but the present has thrown up a problem too, with Mark Hughes having to change the centre of his defence for the first time.
Losing Robert Huth to injury would always be a blow, but it could be particularly significant on Saturday given they face the threat of Romelu Lukaku.
It could mean more responsibility on the shoulders of Ryan Shawcross - but then he does like to be in the thick of it against Everton.
In last December's 1-1 draw he scored an own goal, set up the Stoke equaliser and got head-butted by Marouane Fellaini! There's at least one worry that's gone away.
Going back to Lukaku, his two goals against Liverpool last week mean that he's currently got the best minutes-per-goal ratio (118) of any player with at least 20 Premier League goals - better than the likes of Thierry Henry, Ruud van Nistelrooy and Alan Shearer.
I'm still mystified by Jose Mourinho's decision to loan him out again.
Everton have only lost one Premier League game this season, fewer than anyone else, and have only had more points at this stage once before. For all that, Roberto Martinez would like to see a few more wins and a few fewer draws. (Phew!)
With games away to Manchester United and Arsenal to start December, winning this would seem to be all the more important.

"Arsene Wenger's side will be top going into December and, with the other teams around them stumbling, the Arsenal players must be thinking more and more that they have got a serious chance of winning the title with every week that goes by.

Arsenal's hierarchy blamed the sheen on Lewis' new Cup final jersey. From then on, Arsenal goalkeepers wore old, unwashed kit in subsequent finals.
You won't find Wojciech Szczesny taking any chances. His growing maturity and run of five clean sheets in his last six games are significant features of Arsenal's season to date.
Aaron Ramsey goes back to Cardiff as the Premier League's player of the season so far, and Jack Wilshere is bang on form. There are many reasons to be fearful if you're a Cardiff fan.
But let's not forget the league leaders had a Champions League match on Tuesday. We'd better also remember that Cardiff have beaten Manchester City at home, held Everton and Manchester United, and were unlucky to lose to Tottenham late on.
This is the first league meeting between the two since 1962. It was the year Decca Records turned down the Beatles and signed The Tremeloes. What a mistake to make!

Away goals have almost been as rare as away points this season; just the two goals in total, with the last coming at Selhurst Park way back in August. Historically Villa Park has brought little joy, never more so than in April when they were thrashed 6-1.
Sunderland have shown some improvement under Gus Poyet but not on their travels. Victories at the Stadium of Light over Newcastle and Manchester City lifted spirits. But consecutive defeats on the road at Swansea, Hull and Stoke mean the Black Cats are bottom again.
At least Wes Brown will be available after his hugely controversial red card last Saturday was overturned by the FA. Lee Cattermole and Andrea Dossena have both completed three-match bans, but can Poyet really risk selecting them again after their hot-headed antics at Hull four weeks ago?
Aston Villa go into the game boosted by their second-half recovery on Monday night when they got a point at neighbours West Brom, despite trailing 2-0 inside 11 minutes. The return of fit-again trio Gabby Agbonlahor, Andreas Weimann and Fabian Delph influenced that turnaround.
The biggest concern for Paul Lambert at the moment is the goal drought of Christian Benteke. It is six games since the Belgian last found the back of the opposition's net.
But, having helped himself to a hat-trick in that 6-1 demolition of Sunderland last season, maybe we shouldn't be too surprised to see his name back on the scoresheet this weekend, prolonging Poyet's pain on the road in the process.
