Celtic manager Neil Lennon: "When you have been competing against the best teams and challenging them, it gives you a great lift.
"The players came in today and the quality of training was exceptional.
"They have had a look at what the top level of football really is and they are not far away and they will get a huge lift out of that so in terms of motivating the for tomorrow's game, I don't think they will have much of a problem."
Motherwell manager Stuart McCall: "We have managed to beat them at home three times but it's a tough place to go.
"Since I have been at the club, this is the only ground we have not got anything from. We have had three 1-0 defeats there and pushed them close.
"But we have to go there with no fear. We are on a decent little run ourselves, the lads are playing with confidence and it's a great place to go and play football.

"At home I think you should always try to win the game no matter who you're playing. Not that we are not trying to win tomorrow but you do look at it differently."

MATCH PREVIEW
As a destination to 'get away from it all', Donetsk wouldn't feature prominently in travel brochures. But this week's long Champions League trip to the furthest reaches of Ukraine might have done Manchester United the world of good.
An improved performance, a point gained, and time away from the growing concern over United's worst ever start to a Premier League season certainly won't have done David Moyes any harm. As if he didn't know it already, the last fortnight has shown that "the most difficult job in football" (© anyone & everyone) - succeeding Sir Alex Ferguson - is exactly that
A game against the league's bottom club should bring some respite, but also huge pressures. Can you imagine the reaction and chatter if United lose again?
They've not lost three in a row in the Premier League for nigh on 12 years and they have never lost a league game at the Stadium of Light. They haven't even conceded a goal there in their last four visits.
Last season's 1-0 United win proved to be Martin O'Neill's final game as Sunderland boss, and the same could be true of Kevin Ball in his temporary tenure (second time round!).
The Interim Head Coach has acknowledged that something needs to happen on appointing Paolo Di Canio's successor after this game, and with the smart money on an experienced manager taking charge, Ball is unlikely to be that man.
Could a famous win in this game change that? We might well never know, although Ball does have history there. He was captain of the last Sunderland side to beat United in the league, back in 1997.
Here's another statistical quirk to end on. When Manchester United lost three in a row in 2001, their third defeat was against West Ham. Sunderland's John O'Shea played in that game for United, whilst United's Michael Carrick played for the Hammers - as did Paolo Di Canio.
Irrelevant? Yes. Interesting? To some of us.
MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
Sunderland have not beaten Manchester United in the Premier League since March 1997, when they won 2-1 at home.
That is Sunderland's only victory over United in 24 Premier League meetings overall.

Sunderland
Sunderland are now 10 games without a win or clean sheet in the Premier League since a 1-0 victory over Everton in April 2013.

They had 23 shots against Liverpool last weekend - their most in a Premier League game since December 2011.
Manchester United
United have their lowest points tally after six games of a Premier League season. It's their worst top-flight start since 1989-90.
They have never won the title in a top-flight season where they've lost three or more of their opening six games. The last team to win the top-flight title after having lost three of their first six games was Portsmouth in 1949-50.
United are 12th going into Saturday's games - their lowest league position at this stage of a season since 1986.
Against West Brom, Wayne Rooney scored from a free-kick for the third Premier League game in a row. The last player to score more in a single season was Cristiano Ronaldo (four in 2008-09).

The highest-scoring match between the two clubs was a 5-3 United top-flight victory at Roker Park on Boxing Day in 1950.
Sunderland
Sunderland are now 10 games without a win or clean sheet in the Premier League since a 1-0 victory over Everton in April 2013.
The Black Cats remain one of only three teams that have yet to keep a Premier League clean sheet this season (alongside Crystal Palace and Fulham).

Crystal Palace boss Ian Holloway says he is without two key players through injury, but has refused to name them.
However, fit-again winger Yannick Bolasie could play his first game of the season, while Damien Delaney should return from an ankle problem.
MATCH PREVIEW
"Lift your voice JP! This penalty will make all the difference."
I can still hear the voice of the Capital Gold producer, shouting into my earphones, 24 years after I sat in the Anfield commentary box.
It was a spot-kick to Crystal Palace at mighty Liverpool. The trouble is, they were already 6-0 down. It wasn't going to make much difference.
It didn't. Geoff Thomas missed and Liverpool romped to their biggest top-flight win - 9-0 with eight different scorers, the only time that's happened.
The way Liverpool have started the season, their fans could be forgiven for dreaming of similar fun and frolics.
Palace supporters, meanwhile, will be dreaming of a repeat of the epic Villa Park FA Cup semi-final later that season, which the Eagles won 4-3.
But given how newly-promoted Palace have started this campaign, only their most optimistic fans will expect similar thrills on Saturday.
The return of Luis Suarez to complement Daniel Sturridge gives Liverpool formidable firepower. The Uruguayan has 18 goals in his last 21 games, while the Englishman has 18 in 24 Reds appearances.
Liverpool look far too strong for the visitors. Whether their squad has the strength to stay in the top four all season is debatable. But Brendan Rodgers has made good signings and is assembling a squad to challenge for silverware again soon.
Palace are struggling. Given their budget, I can understand their policy of bringing in some players with chequered reputations. They come with experience, are cheaper in the market and on their day can change games.
The corrosive effect of three successive defeats without scoring will have bitten into the dressing room optimism of five months ago.
Ian Holloway is just the man to get them going again but he urgently needs to settle on his strongest side. However, they will have a decent spell. November is a crucial month for them with winnable games.
As for this weekend, it won't be 9-0. But I can't see anything other than a Suarez homecoming fiesta.
MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
Crystal Palace have won three of their last four games against Liverpool, including a League Cup win at Selhurst Park in 2005 and FA Cup victory at Anfield in 2003.
Palace's only previous league win away to the Reds was on 2 November 1991, when Marco Gabbiadini and Geoff Thomas scored for the visitors.
Liverpool
Liverpool played five league games at Anfield during Luis Suarez's ban for biting. Those matches produced a total of four goals.
Defeat would see the Reds lose back-to-back Premier League home games for the first time since September 2012, when Arsenal and then Manchester United beat them.
Eight of Liverpool's last 12 Premier League goals have been scored by Daniel Sturridge.
Crystal Palace
The Eagles are winless in 16 Premier League away matches (D5, L11), a run dating back to a 1-0 victory at Birmingham in October 2004.
They have lost all four of their away games this season in league and cup.
Ian Holloway's men have failed to score in 11 of their last 18 league games (including play-off matches), scoring 13 times in total.

MATCH PREVIEW
There might not be much in this game between two sides nestled together in mid-table, with Hull starting really well at home and Aston Villa, happier on the counter attack, twice winners on the road already.
Villa have now produced two of the more surprising results of the season so far after adding last week's home win over Manchester City to the opening-day success at Arsenal.
Wins at Villa Park have been all too rare in the last couple of seasons and Villa seem more naturally comfortable on the road when the onus isn't on them as much to take the game to the opposition. They've won five of the last eight away from home in the Premier League, losing just two.
Villa have coped well so far without injured star striker Christian Benteke. When he limped off at Norwich in the most recent away match, Libor Kozak came on and scored the winner, and then three different players found the net against City last weekend.
Hull have made the best start of the three promoted teams and have built solid foundations at home so far, taking seven points out of nine while conceding only one goal in the process.
They'll need to stay tight at the back though, with only a single goal going in at the other end in each of those matches and in-form Robby Brady absent for the visit of Villa.
The clubs haven't met too often in recent times, but it's 26 years since Hull last beat Villa and they have only scored a single goal in losing each of the last eight meetings.
MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
Villa have won their last eight meetings against Hull in all competitions, including all four Premier League fixtures. The Villans have kept six successive clean sheets in this fixture.
Hull have not registered a point or league goal against Villa in five attempts since a 2-1 home win in August 1987 in the old Division Two.
Hull City
Hull have made the best Premier League start of the three promoted clubs (W3, D1, L2), and have earned seven points from their three home fixtures.
They are vying to win three successive Premier League matches for the first time since a four-match streak in October 2008.
Steve Bruce's side have the chance to win back-to-back home matches in the Premier League for the first time in their history.
The Tigers have only conceded one goal in their four home games in all competitions.
The injured Robbie Brady has scored half of Hull's goals for the season, with three in six league games.
Curtis Davies made 67 appearances in all competitions for Aston Villa between 2007 and 2010.
Aston Villa
Villa are striving to register three successive league wins for the first time since April 2010.
Only Arsenal (nine points) and Liverpool (seven) have earned more away points than Villa's six this season. They have taken 16 points from their last eight away games.
Paul Lambert's side have already won two matches this season from losing positions - the best record in the division.
Their tally of nine goals is bettered only by Manchester City (14) and Arsenal (13).
Villa average the lowest amount of possession in the Premier League this season (39.9%). Hull have the second lowest (42.7%).

MATCH PREVIEW
There's a lot to talk about where Fulham are concerned. It's been widely suggested they need an upturn in form for Martin Jol to keep his job.
You can never be sure how patient new owners are going to be, so the Dutchman will need to impress Shahid Khan soon. That last-minute defeat by Cardiff was a major blow. Jol certainly showed his emotions at the final whistle, reflecting the fact that Fulham have lost four out of five.
The Cottagers are a bit soft; they have conceded in the last 10 minutes of their previous four Premier League games and have not come from behind to win since April 2012. They seem brittle, with low powers of recovery.
Stoke have had a wobble and it may take them a while to become a formidable away team under Mark Hughes, who returns to a club he managed in 2010-11, when they finished eighth in the Premier League.
That was no mean feat in the end but I'm not sure Fulham fans have huge affection for Hughes, and it will be revealing to see what kind of welcome both managers get at Craven Cottage.
Fulham shouldn't lose sight of the fact that they've been in the Premier League for 13 consecutive seasons, which is a heck of a good record. The season is only six games old, but judgements are often made so quickly these days, and the fans and board are desperate to see an improvement - especially at home.
Stoke are in transition. They need to evolve this closer passing game without completely dismissing the physicality and directness they developed under Tony Pulis. The danger is falling between two stools and I think that's what happened against Norwich last weekend, when they only had one shot on goal.
I see it being a tight game - there's too much to lose, and neither team are brimming with confidence. The Berbatov-Bent combination hasn't sparked yet, but Fulham can't leave Berbatov out because he can produce a goal out of nothing. Stoke don't really have that, and perhaps that's what Hughes needs to work on as the season progresses.
MATCH FACTS

Stoke and Fulham have each won their home Premier League fixture against each other in the past two seasons.
In their last 16 league and cup meetings, there has only once been more than three goals scored in the match.

Shola Ameobi is fit again after illness and he could be joined in the squad by Steven Taylor and Jonas Gutierrez, who have overcome hamstring problems.
MATCH PREVIEW
This fixture proves just how quickly fortunes can change in football. Sixteen months ago Newcastle were finishing fifth in the Premier League and were only four points off a Champions League place. At the same time, Cardiff came sixth in the Championship, 13 points behind automatic promotion, before going to lose to West Ham in the play-offs.
Now they meet in the top flight, with Cardiff having a point more on the board than Newcastle.
Malky Mackay's side are searching for their third win of the season already, while Alan Pardew's team are looking to avoid a third straight defeat.
The visiting manager will once again wonder which Newcastle team will turn up. Will it be the one that performed so poorly and without any passion in the first-half at Everton on Monday? Or the one that had previously injected some belief with back-to-back victories, including an impressive away win at Aston Villa.
Only Sunderland have conceded more goals than Newcastle so far and defensive work will have been at the top of the priority list this week. The importance of getting a result in this match is only heightened by the fact that Newcastle's next four fixtures are against Liverpool, Sunderland, Chelsea and Tottenham.
Spurs are the only side to win at Cardiff so far, and they were pushed all the way. I was lucky enough to be at Cardiff's first game at home this season and witnessed a deserved win over Manchester City. The atmosphere that day was electric and it won't be a venue where many will bank on points this season.
Cardiff seem to have carried their home momentum from last season, when they took 51 points from a possible 69 in the Championship, and their confidence and belief will only have been increased with the late win at Fulham last week.
Newcastle have to do better or it could feel like an extremely long international break.
MATCH FACTS

These two sides last met in the top flight in the 1960-61 season. Cardiff won 3-2 at home but were thrashed 5-0 at St James' Park.

Cardiff have lost just three of their 26 home games in the league since the start of the 2012-13 season (W16, D7).

MATCH PREVIEW
I've always thought that jumping on to stereotypes was a pretty low form of wit - but in for a penny, in for pound. Manchester City would have only been slightly more embarrassed on Wednesday night had they been required to wear sky blue lederhosen and stroll through Moss Side in time to the rhythm of an oompah band with pointy feathers coming from their hats at jaunty angles.
Bayern Munich taught them a lesson on a night when the only classy thing about City was their fans' willingness to applaud the total superiority of the opposition.
I'm not sure there are many sides which could live with Pep Guardiola's men just now, and plenty of teams who fancy themselves as half decent will be very glad they weren't drawn in the same group as Bayern.
City's problem is not so much the defeat against an exceptional side, but that it was preceded by that loss at Aston Villa and, whatever their collective shortcomings, it's Joe Hart who is being singled out.
Not since he was playing for Shrewsbury as a teenager has Hart conceded six goals in two games. With England's last two World Cup qualifiers coming up, his every move against Everton will be scrutinised and any mistake pounced upon.
The reality is that, assuming he is fit, Hart will start for England. Think about this - if Hart makes a costly mistake in goal for England then that's his fault. If any other goalkeeper made a costly mistake for England then it would be Roy Hodgson's fault for picking him. Hodgson isn't going to let that happen.
Back to Saturday. If there is defensive frailty or mental weakness in City's ranks, Everton have just the man to lay them to waste in Romelu Lukaku. He looks a thoroughbred striker at the top of his game, a combination of pace, power and finishing, oozing menace and confidence.
Unbeaten Everton won nine of their last 12 games against City under David Moyes, and four of their last six at the Etihad. Roberto Martinez beat them with Wigan in the FA Cup final.
So, just for the record you understand, I'll point out that the last time City lost three on the spin was October/November 2010.
MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
Manchester City have only won one of their last eight Premier League games against Everton (W1, D1, L6).
Their sole victory in that run was a 2-0 home win in September 2011. That is their only clean sheet in their last 15 games against the Toffees.
Manchester City
City have scored in their last 53 Premier League home matches - an on-going club record in the top flight. Birmingham City were the last team to shut them out, in a 0-0 draw on 13 November 2010.
They have scored eight goals from crosses in the Premier League this season - twice as many as the next best side.
City are the only team in the division yet to concede in the first half this season.
Manuel Pellegrini's side have lost a league-high six points from winning positions this season. They lost only seven points from winning positions in the whole of 2012-13.
Pellegrini has won both of his previous matches against Everton: 2-1 victories home and away for Villarreal in the Champions League qualifying round in August 2005.
Everton
Victory would give Everton four Premier League wins in a row - a feat they last managed between February and March 2008. That sequence included a 2-0 victory at Manchester City.
The Toffees are the only unbeaten side in the Premier League. However, they are one point and two places worse off than at this stage last season.
They can equal their longest unbeaten start to a Premier League season of seven matches, set in 2006-07.
Romelu Lukaku has scored six goals in his last five Premier League appearances. He has only played 220 minutes overall in that period, so averages a goal every 37 minutes.
David Silva could play his first league game since August after returning from injury in midweek, while Stevan Jovetic is fit despite a minor problem.Watch Man City V Everton Live, Watch Man City V Everton Live Stream, Watch Man City V Everton Free Live Stream, Watch Man City V Everton Online, Watch Man City V Everton Online Free, Man City V Everton Live, Man City V Everton live stream Online.
