The shooting of 23rd James Bond film in India has created lot of buzz in the media. The latest we hear is that Daniel Craig starrer movie will be shot in the picturesque Dudhsagar waterfall, which is situated on the Goa-Karnataka border and 60 km from Panaji. Sources claim that the falls is one of the few locations in India selected for a train sequence to be shot for the 23rd James Bond movie.
According to sources, recce of the spot has already been done and the South-Western Railway, which operates train services from near the waterfall, has also given its approval. But some issues related to shooting are yet to be sorted out. "Height is an issue. For the sequence, they require a particular height, which is not there near this spot. But they have still listed this place," the PTI quotes a source telling.
Meanwhile, the movie bosses are yet to apply for the permission from the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG), a nodal agency, which gives permission for film shooting in Goa. They need to send "As and when we receive the application, we will consider it," ESG Chief Executive Officer Manoj Srivastava told the PTI.
However, The 23rd Bond film, which is slated to release on 9 November 2012, is directed by Sam Mendes. According to sources, a few places in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad have also been short-listed for the shooting of the train sequence. Indian Railway Ministry has already given its approval for the shooting of the sequence.

Actor Salman Khan, who has recently undergone a nerve surgery in the US, is said to be returning to shooting sets in the second week of September. According to his family sources, the Bollywood actor would head to South Africa to shoot for Yash Chopra's upcoming movie Ek Tha Tiger.
In a chat with the PTI, Salman Khan's brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri said, “He is much better now and has been advised to take rest before he starts shooting for Ek Tha Tiger. Doctors are reviewing his health. This is not like you go for one sitting and it is done...hope all goes well.” He added, "He should resume shooting by September 10."
Meanwhile, Salman Khan is very happy over the big opening of his latest release Bodyguard, which is on a record breaking spree. Atul Agnihotri said, "He is updated every day about Bodyguard. He is very much happy. This was an important release for him. He takes good and bad films in equal spirit."
However, Salman Khan has been suffering from the pain in his jaw since 2007 while shooting for Partner. The Dabangg star decided to undergo surgery, when it got worse last year. Now, he is being treated for his nerve disorder Trigeminal Neuralgia in the US.

Paul Danziger drafted the first version of the script which was rewritten by Ela Thier. After filmmakers Mark and Adam Kassen agreed to take on the project they brought in Chris Lopata to rewrite. Filming began on February 10, 2010 in Houston, TX. The film was directed by Adam Kassen and Mark Kassen. Adam Kassen was quoted as saying "From the moment we heard about this story, we connected to what it says about the current state of our medical industry and the flawed hero that tries to fix it." The film was selected by the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival to serve as one of the spotlight premiere features in the program's lineup. Abduction is an upcoming American action thriller film, directed by John Singleton, starring Taylor Lautner, Lily Collins, Sigourney Weaver, Maria Bello, Jason Isaacs, and Alfred Molina. The film is about a teenager who finds out that his parents are not really his when he sees his baby picture on a missing persons website. The film is set to be released by Lionsgate on September 23, 2011.
Lionsgate bought screenwriter Shawn Christensen's spec script for Abduction in February 2010, with actor Taylor Lautner attached to the film. The studio won a bidding war for the screenplay, acquiring it for $1 million.  Gotham Group and Vertigo Entertainment had developed the script, based on a story idea by Gotham's Jeremy Bell.
Lionsgate rushed to start filming in July, due to Lautner's schedule to begin work on the last two Twilight films for Summit Entertainment. Writer Jeffrey Nachmanoff was hired to work on the screenplay, and John Singleton signed on to direct in March. Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Lee Stollman, Roy Lee, and Doug Davison are producing the film, with Jeremy Bell and Gabriel Mason executing producing. Lautner's father, Dan Lautner, is also producing, the first film from their Tailor Made Entertainment label. Variety estimated the budget to be around $40 million.

Back Door Channels: The Price of Peace, directed by Harry Hunkele,and produced by Arick Wierson, Donald Tanselle, and Matthew Tollin, is an American documentary film about the interplay between the official government channels and the men who acted largely behind the scenes during the course of peace process between Israel and Egypt. It was pre-released in June 2009, and later official bowed in October, 2010. Its mainstream theatrical release in the United States is scheduled for Sept., 2011.
The film begins with a sequence that combines historical footage with computer-generated imagery (CGI) to set the historical stage for the story. The segment was co-produced by Hunkele, executive producer Arick Wierson and the film's artistic director, Rolan LeBreton. Critic Michael O'Regan hails the animated sequence as "an exceptionally accomplished opening sequence (which inventively surmises millennia of enmity between Jews and Muslims in the Middle East in a mere 4 minutes)" Jay Weissberg, writing for Variety, dismisses the sequence as "a ridiculous potted history of Israel from Genesis to the state's foundation in 1948 (all in five minutes)." Vanessa McMahton, filing for Fest21, thought the effects were one of the film's strong suits: "The film is both poetic and informative interlacing art and CGI effects which add to the story aesthetically and descriptively."
