Synopsis:
Sangeetha hails from a family where women ('Dasis') traditionally entertain men customers to earn money. Having brought up in such an environment, Sangeetha develops revulsion towards this way of life and wants to free herself. She eventually fails and is pushed into the family occupation. How and under what circumstances she surrenders, albeit reluctantly, is what the story is about.
Sangeetha plays the character which has to do more with body language and emotions than talking. She believes that she got a more important role in "Dhanam" than in her earlier films.
One of the rapturous scenes has been shot in a dilapidated building at Kumbakonam where Sangeetha wallows in a filthy pond filled with garbage. She surprised the unit members who doubted whether she would get into the stinking water in the pond. The next day she was down with fever. Director Siva is all praise for Sangeetha's commitment and hard work.
Girish Karnad, Kota Srinivasa Rao and Ashish Vidyarthi play important roles. The cast includes Rajalakshmi, Prem, Ilavarasu, Manobala, Rajkapoor, Santhana Bharathi, Manojkumar and Sasimohan. Saloni of 'Maryada Ramanna'fame played the title role in 'Telugammayi' directed by Raja Vannem Reddy, presented by Chegondi Hari Rama Jogaiah and Karatam Rambabu and produced by Vanapalli Babu Rao on the banner of Vaishnavi Movies. Sai Kumar played a key role while Vikram, Yashwanth, Harsha, Saichand played the heroes in the film.
The film had completed its shooting and post-production formalities and the first copy was submitted to the Censor Board for certification. The board after watching the film awarded 'U/A' certificate. According to the director, the story of the film revolves around an out and out Telugu girl, who has an ambition in her life and the struggles faced by the girl while trying to achieve the goal.

Movie Plot Summary:
Siddhu (Siddharth Rajkumar) has four friends and all of them study together in a school. There are three girls, who join their gang. Siddhu's father (Bheemanani Srinivasa Rao) is an honest government employee. All these friends complete their plus two and join the college. As they grew up, Siddhu develops love towards Gita. Once a senior student called Robo teases Gitta and Siddhu challenges him and wins over him in bike race. Later, Robo tries to molest another girl in the lab, and Siddhu and his friends bash him. Accidentally, Robo picks a live cable and suffers electric shock. Then, the police start search for the boys. Siddhu and his gang takes shelter with their principal, who pleads with the police not to book a case against him as it would spoil their career. In the police station, the friends confess that Siddhu is in love with Gita and that is the reason why they tried to bash Robo. Later, all the friends warn Siddhu to forget his love and concentrate on career, but Siddhu ignores it. They desert him and Gita too listens to her parents and decides to concentrate on studies and turns a doctor. At this juncture, Siddhu’s father retires and agrees to shed the money as bribe to get a government job to Siddhu. However, Siddhu fails to turn up to the interview and loses the job. Prabhas cousin Siddharth Raj Kumar’s debut film Keratam is gearing up for its release on 26th August. The censor formalities of Keratam have been completed and the film has been offered clean U certificate from the Censor Board.
Keratam introduces Rakul Preeth Singh to Tollywood as heroine and Goutham Patnaik as director. Keratam is the remake of Kannada blockbuster hit Josh that has Nithya Menon in the original. The film is a trilingual, releasing simultaneously in Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil versions. Touted as a youthful love entertainer, Keratam is produced by SV Babu on SV Productions banner and has music by Joshua Sridhar.
The film-makers also inform that Keratam has an underlying message to youth on a burning issue that youth are facing.

Movie Review:
Extremely Predictable
Sumanth’s latest film Daggaraga Dooramga is about how a guy finds himself in trouble when a model he creates on his computer comes alive in real life. Vedhicka C Kumar played the lead role in this action love story which touches upon themes like love and terrorism. Directed by Ravi Kumar Chavali, the film was produced by J Sambasiva Rao and the makers touted that it’s a sensible film. Let’s see if the film lives up to its promise.
Gautham (Sumanth) is a creative director at Rainbow Advertising Agency. He impresses his boss and clients with his creative concepts. During one assignment, when he doesn’t come across the perfect face he wants, he ‘creates’ a new face on his computer thanks to ‘Photoshop’. His creation a rage in the market and he calls her Kamakshi. However, he doesn’t realize that there’s a girl named Meenakshi (Vedhicka) who looks exactly like Gautham’s creation. Elsewhere, a group of terrorists plan to create mayhem in Hyderabad and a journalist, Zarina (Sindhu Tholani) tries to investigate this entire issue. The rest of the story is about how Gautham, Meenakshi and Zarina’s lives intertwine which results in a cat-and-mouse chase.
Daggaraga Dooramga is an interesting concept to begin with. Probably the only original thing which the film even attempts is the hero creating a new face on his computer only to realize later on that she actually exists. However, the moment the story shifts to terrorists, the film moves on extremely predictable lines. The characters are clichéd that except for scheming to blow up railway stations and killing people, these terrorists do not show any intelligence. Even their dialogues seem to be ripped off from kazillion other stories based on terrorists.
Another problem with the story is it packs in too many things and it seems implausible for the timeline it is based in. On one hand, there are people running for their lives, yet the lead characters find time to interact and get to know each other, which eventually blossoms into a love story. And on the other hand, Jhonny (Brahmanandam) joins the chaos all of a sudden to provide comic relief. The screenplay goes for a toss as the terrorists keep aside their plans and indulge in ‘comedy’ with Jhonny. The major crux of the story, about why it’s wrong to kill innocent people, moves on predictable lines with random people screaming about teaching terrorists a lesson. The biggest drawback of the film is its lack of engaging drama and slow pace with songs popping at odd occasions.

Altaaf and Krithika Krishnan of Happy Days-fame are playing the hero and heroine for Cheta Venna Mudda directed by Rohit S Abhyuday and produced by PR Kumar on the banner of Full Moon Pictures. The film completed its shooting recently and the producer is making efforts to release the film in December.
Executive producer M Bharat Kumar says, “How the time filled the vacuum between two strong-willed lovers is the basic theme of the movie. For the first time on the Telugu screen, we are trying to experiment on the concept of mercy killing. Post-production works are nearing completion."
