Storyline:
The show follows the adventures of Walter Sherman an Iraq War vet who suffered brain damage in an IED explosion. The brain damage triggered in Walter the ability to find" things, he sees connections between seemingly unrelated events, objects or people that other investigators would miss. Walter is assisted by his "legal advisor" and bar owner Leo Knox, US Deputy Marshal Isabel Zambada, and teen parolee and thief Willa Monday, who is serving her probation with the team. The brain damage that gives Walter his "finder" talent has also left him with a case of paranoia and other mental idiosyncrasies. Walter refuses treatment because he does not want to lose his talent. Season Summary:
CSI: NY, a crime drama inspired by the drama series "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation", is about forensic investigators who use high-tech science to follow the evidence and solve crimes in the Big Apple. Det. Mac Taylor, a dedicated and driven crime-scene investigator who believes that everything is connected and everyone has a story, is a decorated Marine who served in Desert Storm and dabbled in war photography. The job is his life; he focuses on cases until they are solved. The team includes the newest addition, Josephine "Jo" Danville, an experienced investigator from Washington, D.C., whose work is driven by her empathy for the victim. They work with a team of experts, including Danny Messer, an investigator with an unflappable spirit and a troubled family history, which he uses on the job as he blends his own set of hybrid ethics. Messer was personally selected to join the team by Mac, and he attempts daily to live up to that honor and responsibility. Sheldon Hawkes is the crime lab’s former coroner, a brilliant Ph.D. who transitioned to the field team. Season Summary:

This action is spurred further when September, dying from a fatal wound, tells Peter that entering the Machine was needed to undo September's mistake by eliminating Henry though Peter's erasure, but that Peter's child with his Olivia in the original timeline would eventually lead to the creation of the Observers. The two sides start to work together when Peter recognizes Jones, who in this timeline, had successfully crossed to the parallel universe without Peter to stop him. Jones is using a new army of shapeshifters to perform questionable acts in both universes. Jones, working with a version of Nina Sharp, has been injecting Olivia with Cortexaphan, making her susceptible to the implanting of Olivia's memories from the original timeline by Peter. Peter decides to leave this Olivia, fearing what he has done to her, re-invigorating his search for a way back to the original timeline........
