Storyline:
Based on Ranulph Fiennes novel The Family Men, the story follows a group of former British special forces members who are being hunted by assassins, lead by Statham's character.

Based on a true story, Killer Elite pits two of the worlds' most elite operatives - Danny, an ex-special ops agent (Jason Statham) and Hunter, his longtime mentor (Robert De Niro) - against the cunning leader of a secret military society ('Clive Owen' ). Covering the globe from Australia to Paris, London and the Middle East, Danny and Hunter are plunged into a highly dangerous game of cat and mouse - where the predators become the prey.

Killer Elite is an upcoming action film starring Jason Statham, Clive Owen, Robert De Niro, Yvonne Strahovski, and Dominic Purcell. The film is based on the 1991 novel The Feather Men by Sir Ranulph Fiennes, and is directed by Gary McKendry.
It was filmed at Docklands Studios Melbourne in Melbourne, Australia. Filming began on 13 May 2010, based at the Docklands Studios Melbourne in the Docklands. In July 2010, Jason Statham's scenes were shot at the Brecon Beacons in Wales.[4] In May 2010, it was announced that Oscar-winning actor Robert De Niro would join the cast, shooting for ten days in a small role as an assassin. De Niro filmed a scene in Melbourne's Spring Street set in 1970s Paris.[5]
Some London scenes were filmed in Cardiff – on 29 July, De Niro and Statham were seen filming outside The Promised Land Bar on Windsor Place.
On 28 July 2010, location filming took place near the Storey Arms outdoor centre, in the Brecon Beacons. A number of 1970's period cars were in evidence, particularly a bright orange Austin Maxi.
