Rotherham boss Steve Evans told BBC Radio Sheffield:
"I'm 100% sure that we'll be bringing someone in when the loan window opens next weekend. It could be as many as three.
"We'd like to bring another wide player in if possible and then maybe another central midfielder.
"We know what this game will mean to our supporters but this is a friendly derby. Sheffield United did a lot for this club in desperate times.
"They're a massive club and they've got good people involved there. The new investment is good for football and good for them.
Sheffield United boss David Weir told BBC Radio Sheffield:
(On new investment) "Everyone's intrigued to see how it will work moving forward but it can only be a positive for us. He's going to be at the game on Saturday and it's an opportunity for us as a team to show what we already have.
"Mark Howard has done really well in pre-season and he came in and did well against Scunthorpe on Tuesday. We have every confidence in him.
"They're undefeated in the league so they deserve credit for that.
"It's an important game because it's a local derby and there'll be a lot of attention on the match."
