Fellow full-back Nathaniel Clyne, another to drop out of the Young Lions' squad may miss out as well. Gaston Ramirez and Guly do Prado are also doubtful, while Jose Fonte is sidelined.
Adam Lallana could make his first start since suffering a knee injury on December 8 and January acquisition Vegard Forren could start this clash.

Mancini must decide who to start with up front after leaving Carlos Tevez on the bench against Liverpool with Sergio Aguero and Edin Dzeko teaming up in attack.
