Head-to-head

Manchester United beat Fulham for the 46th time in their 78th competitive meeting with a 3-2 Premier League triumph at Old Trafford in August. It was their fourth win in a row against the Cottagers. Fulham's most recent of their 14 victories over the Red Devils came in 3-0 win at Craven Cottage in December 2009.
This is the ninth time they've drawn each other in the FA Cup proper. United have advanced in seven, including in the 1958 semi-finals, the 2004 quarter-finals, and most recently with a 4-0 victory in west London in the 2009 quarter-finals.
Fulham's only success was in the fourth round in 1908.

Manchester United
Treble-chasing Manchester United, unbeaten in 10 in all competitions, began their challenge for a record 12th FA Cup, against West Ham in the third round, but came within a minute of being knocked out.
Fulham are the sixth successive Premier League club they've been drawn to meet in the competition, and the 21st in 26 rounds.
It is also the first time the Red Devils have been drawn at home in the FA Cup, since Arsenal in the quarter-finals in the season before last.
Sir Alex Ferguson's side, who last lifted the trophy in 2004, have failed to make the last 16 in two of the last three seasons.

Fulham
Fulham needed a replay to dispose of Championship Blackpool, and have been drawn away from home for only the second time in nine FA Cup rounds.
The 1975 runners-up have been eliminated by fellow Premier League clubs in each of the last four seasons.
The 4-0 home win over Tottenham at this stage in the season before last, is the only time in the previous eight occasions that they have not been ousted by top-flight clubs when drawn against them.
