Patrick makes it through to the shopping centre only to find that time has passed and the clock has been taken away. He runs into a distraught Claire who has been looking for Carol. Patrick realises that Carol must have followed him to the other side and they rush home to contact Max, who is being interrogated by the agents. They let Max go but lock his room—he can’t get to his computer. Carol has her own encounter with some agents who try to take her ball away—it displays magic qualities and burns one of the agent’s hands. Patrick, with the help of Claire, tracks the clock down to a warehouse. We are left with Carol who is confronted by Parsons, a senior agent...............
Season Summary:
From the creator of the hit series "Bones" comes "The Finder", a quirky, one-hour procedural centering on a remarkable man with an eccentric personality and a unique gift to help others recover what they've lost. Iraq war veteran Walter Sherman (Geoff Stults) gained a reputation in his army days as being the go-to guy for tracking down insurgents and deserters and finding improvised explosive devices (IEDs). Unfortunately one IED found Walter before he could find it, resulting in severe brain damage with a lasting and unexpected effect. Walter transformed from someone skilled at the standard recovery of people and things in wartime scenarios to someone - something - much more extraordinary: a Finder. Walter left the military, but his reputation as a discreet professional able to unearth anything and anyone passed on to generals, politicians and other powerful figures.
Storuline:
The show follows the adventures of Walter Sherman an Iraq War vet who suffered brain damage in an IED explosion. The brain damage triggered in Walter the ability to find" things, he sees connections between seemingly unrelated events, objects or people that other investigators would miss. Walter is assisted by his "legal advisor" and bar owner Leo Knox, US Deputy Marshal Isabel Zambada, and teen parolee and thief Willa Monday, who is serving her probation with the team. The brain damage that gives Walter his "finder" talent has also left him with a case of paranoia and other mental idiosyncrasies. Walter refuses treatment because he does not want to lose his talent. The last time Walter failed to find someone, it was the IED explosive expert that was responsible for blowing up Walter's Humvee and killing 5 members of his unit. Written by Hamish Blair
Episode Summary:
When a family employs Walter to find their missing father and husband, the only help they can offer is a partial voicemail recording of his last message to them. Meanwhile, an attractive FBI agent (guest star Kelly Carlson) is also looking for the same man, and she tries to get as much information about him from Walter as she can. Also, Leo's memories of his deceased wife and daughter bring new meaning to the case and the family they're trying to reunite.
