Blue Mountain State, an American comedy series that premiered on Spike TV on January 11, 2010. The series follows the players on the football team of the fictional university, Blue Mountain State, and its rather awkward team "The Goats" as they explore the freedoms of college life, including football, scoring with women, drinking binges, wild partying, and hazing. The series was created by Chris Romano, who also stars in the series, and Eric Falconer. As of October 5, 2011, a total of 30 episodes have been shown. The series was renewed for a second season in February 2010. A sneak peek of the second episode of season two aired on October 16; the season premiere was on October 20, 2010. Blue Mountain State was renewed for a third season and will be aired on Spike TV, it will premiere September 21, 2011 with back-to-back episodes.Alex Moran (Darin Brooks): A Junior starting quarterback, acting Captain, from Cheyenne, Wyoming. He was the first 10,000 yard passer in Wyoming high school history. Unlike the rest of the characters, Alex does not see college football as a stepping stone for the NFL and is content to spend his days as a back-up player and a life as an "Average Joe" once he graduates college. Instead, he is dedicated to having as much fun as humanly possible while in college, which includes getting drunk and having sex. In the second season finale he begins dating Mary Jo, this ends once she becomes a lesbian. He lives at the Goat House with Thad and Sammy.
