Movie Plot Summary:
Shishira starts with a discussion among friends about the existence of god and ghosts. The film's hero Suraj is an atheist and says that the responsibility of leading a happy life rests with an individual; that gods or ghosts does not exist.
He accepts a challenge with friends to spend a night at a dilapidated bungalow, situated in a remote place.
At the bungalow, Suraj tries to entertain himself by reading an old diary. While he learns about the tragic death of three people from the diary. Suddenly, Suraj feels the presence of the dead victims, and gets terrified.

The movie got mostly positive reviews from the media[3].The director has been able to extract a fine performance from new face Yashas and has been greatly helped by the special effects team. The background score of first-time music director Ajneesh Lokanath and camerawork of Suresh Babu helps the director handle the subject well. Actress Meghna too came up with a good performance. Prema, who returns to the film industry after a while, suits the role perfectly. The tall villain Santosh is quite frightening in the film.

Budding Kannada actor Yashas Surya, who made his debut with Shashank Raj's Yuga Yugagale Saagali, is now back with the movie Shishira. In his first movie, Yashas had failed to impress the audience with his acting, but his performance in fight sequences in the movie was well appreciated.
After Yuga Yugagale Saagali, Yashas Surya got many offers, but he waited for a good scripts. He says that he had a limited opportunity to prove his guts in his first movie. Now, he is very sure to prove his talents as an actor in the film Shishira.
Now, Yashas has lots of expectation from his latest movie Shishira. According to him, the movie goes on offering surprises to the audience at every stage. He says that a song of the movie has been picturised in a single shot which runs around 3 minutes and 45 seconds.
Meghana is starring alongside Yashas. Actress Prema is making her comeback to films through this movie, which is produced by B Mahadev and BT Manju and directed by Manju Swaraj.
