"shahid sonam kapoor, bollywood movie mausam, mausam release postponed, mausam release delayed, shahid defend postponing mausam, shahid promote mausam, u certificate censor board, director pankaj kapoor, mausam special screening iaf"

Despite getting clear 'U' certificate from the Censor Board, the release of Shahid-Sonam starrer Bollywood movie Mausam, which was slated to hit the screens on 16th September, has been postponed to 23rd September. The delay in the release had fueled several speculations. But Shahid Kapoor has defended the delay by saying that they needed time to promote the film.

In a press conference held yesterday, Shahid Kapoor said, "The release date has been shifted to September 23. We needed a NOC from IAF and Censor Certificate, we got a 'U' certificate and then the board wanted to see the film once again. This consumed a lot of time delaying the release date. We have made the required changes in the particular 30 seconds scene."
However, Mausam had received a conditional NOC from the officers of IAF, who once again watched the movie at a special screening arranged in Delhi yesterday. After the screening, the IAF requested for a minor correction in a particular aerial action sequence. The scene in question is only 30 seconds long and needed computer graphic changes, which has been done immediately, confirms director Pankaj Kapoor.
