St Johnstone defender Frazer Wright limped off during last week's loss to Hibernian with a knee injury but will be fit for the trip to Glasgow.

David Robertson is still a couple of weeks away from a return.

Celtic manager Neil Lennon: "The players are fine, a bit stiff which is natural after an intense game.

"You don't dwell on it (the loss to AC Milan). You deal with it on the night and move on. I was very pleased with performance and disappointed with the result.

"They know they played well. They will be disappointed but the best thing they can do is get back out and play again.

"St Johnstone are a very good SPFL team. They started the season pretty well and there's continuity with Tommy (Wright) taking over from Steve (Lomas).

"They have a good team ethic, they work hard for each other and have really good centre forwards who can upset us."

St Johnstone manager Tommy Wright: "We have been to Celtic Park before and got a couple of good results. We've had a few tankings as well down there and that can happen.

"But we can use our own experiences from Europe of going away to a place like Rosenborg and getting a result. We know the underdog can often cause an upset.

"We respect Celtic and know they are the best side in the country. We know Neil can change four or five positions without even weakening it. It will be a difficult game but they players like to test themselves against the best.

"I know Neil really well from our time together in the national team - although he is difficult to get on the phone these days. I usually see him in Portugal each summer for a couple of rounds of golf.

"I'm not surprised by how well he's done. He knows the game, went straight into coaching the reserve team at Celtic.

"He's done remarkably well for Celtic, particularly in Europe, now he's got the top job and I'm looking forward to pitting my wits against him."
