While Balotelli and ElSharawaay are very talented attackers, the midfield behind them lacks creativity and there is no real speed in the team. Abate , Mexes and Zapata will marshall the defence and the team is full of experience and wont be easily beaten, but at the moment I think Ac Milan fans will not be overly confident of getting a result tomorrow night.
PSV manager Phillip Cocu was a terrific footballer in his day and his team are playing terrific free flowing attack-minded football at the moment. The addition of Ji Sung Park, the former Manchester United midfielder, provides lots of experience to a youthful and exciting squad of players. There is some real talent running through this PSV side with Bakkali, Wijnaldum, Depy and Maher. Can the youth prevail in one of the biggest games of their careers, in a hostile atsomphere in one of the cauldrons of world football against one of the giants of the european game? The Rossoneri find themselves in the Champions League qualifiers, a somewhat unknown entity for them, after narrowly squeaking into the top three last season. Despite Milan having a better, more experienced side, no team in this competition can be taken lightly.
After the first match in Holland, it was clear that coach Massimiliano Allegri's men had a lot of work to do to get by a young Dutch side which seemed fearless throughout the course of the match.
The most worrying facet in Allegri's starting XI is their inability to handle set pieces, as they conceded the most goals from the air in Serie A last season. You can bet that lanky PSV striker Tim Matavz has perked his ears plenty at these statistics.
I'm not going to beat around the bush here, I think PSV have a terrific chance of turning Ac Milan over if they do not let the occasion get to them. Milan are a good side, but definitely beatable and the pace of PSV can cause Ac Milan some real problems on the counter attack. On the betting front, though, I'm going to take both teams to score and try to cash an early winner before throwing a little something on PSV to win outright
