Season Summary:
The Apprentice sees candidates separated into two teams, competing against each other for a position working for Sir Alan Sugar. Each week the candidates take part in a task set by Sir Alan, and each team will nominate a Project Manager for that task. Sir Alan's trusted aides, Margaret and Nick, will follow the groups, and inform Sir Alan how each group has fared. The team that performs the best will win a reward and avoid the dreaded boardroom confrontation. However, for the losing team, they will be summoned to the boardroom where their project manager will be forced to pick two colleagues in their team to face the possibility of being fired.
Storyline:
Sir Alan Sugar - the £700m owner of AMSTRAD, is presented with 14 candidates, he must split the candidates up into two teams each week, and set them a business task. At the end of the each task, Sir Alan will fire one member of the losing team. Until Week 12 when one of the candidates will get a £100,000 with Sir Alan and become 'The Apprentice.'
Episode Summary:
Lord Sugar decides to change around some of the members of the two teams for the third task. The teams have to come up with a new condiment. One team decides to go for a Mediterranean-style ketchup whilst the other a chilli chutney. At the end of the show one of the candidates from the loosing team is fired by Lord Sugar.
