Charlie's Angels is an American reboot television series developed by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar for ABC, based upon the 1976 series of the same name created by Ivan Goff, and Ben Roberts. On May 17, 2011, ABC announced that the series will air on Thursdays at 8:00 pm Eastern/7:00 pm Central, beginning in the fall. The series premiered on Thursday, September 22, 2011, the 35th anniversary of the debut of the original show. Charlie's Angels was canceled on October 14, 2011 after airing only four episodes. The show has received mostly negative reviews, with many of the reviews criticizing the acting, confusing plot, and useless action scenes. It has received a 30/100 on Metacritic. Matthew Gilbert of The Boston Globe gave the show a "C" grade commenting "The underwhelming cast brings nothing to the boilerplate action. Kelly is miscast as a biker chick, and making Bosley a hunk with computer skills fails to add life. IGN's Matt Fowler named it the worst pilot of the fall, pointing out the bad acting and writing, saying that he didn't "believe that these ladies could change a flat tire, much less take down a notorious human trafficker" and that the series should have gone dark like Nikita or copied the tone of Burn Notice. A reboot of the original series has been in the works since late 2009, when screenwriter Josh Friedman was hired to write a pilot script. Friedman's script was ultimately rejected, and ABC hired Smallville creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar to pen a new version....

A cat burglar, a car thief, and a dirty cop get a chance to turn their lives around; fighting crime and working for the mysterious Charlie Townsend.
Episode Summary:
The Angels must uncover who is behind the assassination of an African king while protecting his son, Mark, the sole heir to the throne. As Mark struggles to deal with the tremendous responsibility that is suddenly thrust upon him, Ray works alongside Kate to investigate the shooting, which causes her to reconsider their relationship.
